#1 Angelo Casimiro is a 17-year-old from the Phillipines who runs the Youtube channel TechBuilder.
#2 He recently built a life size, remote controlled BB-8 droid and put a guide together on Instructables.
This is the first step of finding and inflating a beach ball to use as base for paper machete.

#3 In this tutorial, he only uses household materials and a little Arduino circuitry.
It's basically like making a pinata. He had to re-enforce the body with canvas.
#4 It was started as a Christmas gift for his Dad.

#5 Knowing from past experience in building robots, he figured he could build a life-sized version of the Sphero BB8 for less than $100.

#6 That's much more affordable than the Sphero toy that cost $150 online.

#7 He also saw this as an opportunity to spend some father-and-son time with him.

#8 This was built in the week of Christmas!
Make sure you wear your mask with the spray paint!

#9 Due to the limitation of materials, he resorted in using the materials around him.
Deodorant roll-ons as ball bearings, canvas as fiberglass, Christmas balls as the eye & etc.
