#1 Mary Bell

The day before Mary Bell turned 11, in 1968, she went on a rampage. She strangled a 4-year-old boy named Martin Brown in an abandoned house. Later that same day, she and a 13-year-old friend broke into an orphanage and vandalized the building and offices by smashing everything in it. They left notes that claimed responsibility for Brown's murder, but the police just assumed that it was a prank. A few months later, the two girls kidnapped and murdered 3-year-old Brian Howe and left his body in a marsh, but not before Mary mutilated him and carved an "M" into his stomach. Because of her age and psychiatric stability, Mary was only convicted of two counts of manslaughter and released after 23 years in prison.

#2 Lorenzo Ferreira

This little kid would give Damien from The Omen a run for his money. In 2015, Jaine Ferreira went into her backyard in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil to check on her 17-month-old son, Lorenzo. She found him struggling, with a snake in his mouth and blood dripping from his lips. She rushed Lorenzo to the hospital, and doctors discovered that he had not been bitten, not was he injured. Instead, little Lorenzo snatched the jararaca, which is an Amazonian viper that happens to be one of the most venomous snakes in the Americas, and bit it and killed it before it could bite him. Creepy.

#3 Alyssa Bustamante

Alyssa Bustamante used her younger sister as bait to lure a nine-year-old girl away from her home and into a secluded, wooded area. The 15-year-old then proceeded to murder Elizabeth Olten brutally. She stabbed her, strangled her, and sliced her throat - all because she wanted to know what killing someone felt like. She then placed the girl's body in a shallow grave and covered it with damp leaves. Her diary entry from that night reads:

'I just f*cking killed someone. I strangled them and slit their throat and stabbed them now they're dead. I don't know how to feel atm. It was ahmazing. As soon as you get over the 'ohmygawd I can't do this' feeling, it's pretty enjoyable. I'm kinda nervous and shaky though right now. Kay, I gotta go to church now...lol.'

She had apparently dug two graves, which led police to discover that she had also planned to kill Elizabeth's twin brother. She received a life sentence with no parole.

#4 Barry Dale Loukaitis

In 1996, 15-year-old Barry Dale Loukaitis walked into his algebra classroom dressed like a Wild West gunslinger. Everyone laughed, thinking he was playing a prank. He was armed to the teeth and opened fire on his classmates. He killed two students and his Algebra teacher, saying in the panic, "This sure beats the hell out of algebra, doesn't it?" He wanted to take a student hostage and have a gunfight with police but a gym teacher heard the scuffle and came to the scene, where he wrestled Loukaitis down and took the gun away from him. He's currently serving two life sentences with an additional 205 years on top of that.

#5 Jasmine Richardson

Jasmine Richardson was tried and convicted of murdering her mother, father, and 8-year-old brother when she was just 12. Her parents had forbid her to see her 23-year-old boyfriend, Jeremy Steinke, so the couple devised a sinister plan in 2006. Steinke, who believed he was a 300-year-old werewolf, went to the Richardson home and killed her parents in their living room. He then went upstairs to her brother's room and made Jasmine kill her own brother. She did what he asked and stabbed him to death. Police caught the pair 100 miles away and they were convicted and jailed. Neither showed any remorse. Steinke is now serving three concurrent life sentences (now under the name Jackson May) while Richardson is finishing up her sentence in a mental institution.

#6 Robert Thompson and Jon Venables

It's hard to imagine even an adult committing such a violent crime but Robert Thompson and Jon Venables were only 10 years old in 1993 when they did something horrific. The two spotted a small boy walking and led him from the mall to an abandoned house, where they proceeded to beat him. They threw bricks at him, piled stones on his head, sexually violated him with batteries, and finally killed him by choking him. After the boy had died, they took his body to the train tracks and laid it across the rails to be torn apart, They boy was so badly injured that it was almost impossible to determine the cause of his death. They both blamed the other, but both were convicted and held for 8 years until they won an appeal and were released.

Lionel Tate became the youngest person to ever be sentenced to life without parole for the 1999 murder of a six-year-old girl. He was just 12 years old. His mother was babysitting the girl but left her to go upstairs. Soon after, Lionel came running up the stairs telling his mother that the child had stopped breathing. He claimed the incident was an accident as the two were trying wrestling moves, but an investigation proved otherwise and he was convicted of first-degree murder. He was released with 10 years of probation and a guilty plea to second-degree murder, rather than first, on the grounds that he did not understand his charges at the time. A year later he was sent back to prison for 30 years after robbing a pizza shop with a loaded gun.

#9 The First Graders of Winterberry Charter School

What kids don't dislike their teachers? The children in the first grade at Winterberry Charter School despised theirs and conspired together to poison her. The kids decided to put packets of silica gel into her coffee but wanted to see if it worked first so they put it into another student's lunch. They believed that the silica gel was poison because it says "do not consume" on the packages. Another student overheard the plan and told the teacher. Oh, and silica gel isn't actually toxic.
