Jeremy identifies himself as a man who simply enjoys wearing women's clothes and feels more comfortable in a feminine style. For this he often gets asked too if he is gay to which he responds: “Basically, I’m a guy who wears a skirt and I feel a lot happier now I can just be myself and get on with life.”

A Tesco worker reveals that he is finally so happy and can be himself after he started wearing a skirt to work.
Jeremy Jeffery, 56, started to wear a skirt as part of his uniform and feels overwhelmed with the amount of support and acceptance he has received from the people.

For Jeremy, it was his own personal secret that he enjoys wearing women's clothes more than men's. However, gathering all his courage, he started wearing women's clothes two years back.
According to Hull Live reports, Jeremy, from Beverley, Hull, began wearing women's clothes first in this local shop.

With hesitation first but he prepared a skirt for his Tesco unfirm. He says that the amount of support he received from the staff and customers were just 'brilliant.'
“I’ve been this way in terms of wanting to wear women’s clothes all my life, but in the early days I kept it quiet,” said Jeremy."
“It is no secret that I liked to wear heeled boots, and then started having my nails done, but transitioned to wearing a skirt in public around Christmas time two years ago."
“It was a big deal but it kickstarted to wearing women’s clothing full time when my manager accepted my order of a skirt when I needed a new uniform at Tesco."
“I got full acceptance and support of management to do this and the team have been brilliant."

“In the first couple of days it was scary wearing a skirt to work, but now I’m a lot happier and so glad I did it.
“There were a couple of second glances from customers, but I was actually pleasantly surprised how little reaction there was.”
Though Jeremy has faced a fair share of criticism too but it is incomparable compared to the love and support he got. He says that the negative comments he has received so far can be counted on his fingers.

Jeremy says that because of his clothing choice, he often gets confused about being gay.
“I often get asked if I’m gay – well no, I’m not, I’ve had girlfriends and it’s great because we can share a wardrobe,” said Jeremy.
“I just merely feel more comfortable and relaxed in women’s clothes – I don’t want to be a woman but I just like the more feminine way of dressing."

“I enjoy football, nights out with the lads, love my sports and all the blokey stuff like that.
“I do have wigs but I don’t really wear them and just have my natural hair.
“Basically, I’m a guy who wears a skirt and I feel a lot happier now I can just be myself and get on with life.”
