The New 100 Layers Of Makeup Challenge Results In Horrifying Faces

We’ve reached a new level of boredom in our society, exemplified by the new 100 layers of makeup challenge. It started with 100 layers of foundation. Then it was 100 coats of nail polish. Then multiple layers of mascara… The things people do on the internet when they have too much time on their hands. Youtube blogger Jenna Marbles took the challenge to the next level and combined all of the challenges and added a few new ones to create one creepy look for a satirical video. She did 100 coats of foundation, spray tan, lipstick, hairspray, nail polish, and fake eyelashes. The results are absolutely horrifying and hilarious.

#1 100 Layers.

Something about 100 layers is key to this challenge. It's extreme, but not impossible to accomplish.

#2 Polish Mountain.

The #polishmountain challenge focused on 100 layers of nail polish. It's weirdly satisfying to look at. But seriously how long did that take to dry?

#3 100 layers of foundation.

Youtube user Jeely did the 100 layers of foundation challenge. The result is as creepy and uncomfortable as it sounds. She doesn't even look human.

#4 Sunburned.

When she took off the makeup, the results were even scarier. The layers of foundation had burned her skin! It was super red!

#5 Jenna Marbles.

Youtube vlogger Jenna Marbles became obsessed with 100 layers videos. She decided to make her own, saying, "I wanna do this. But I wanna do this hard as f***." She wanted to make this the "ultimate 100 coats video."

#6 Ultimate 100 coats.

Jenna Marbles agreed to go all the way with the 100 coats challenge. That means 100 layers of spray tan, lipstick, hair spray, nail polish, and foundation. She also put on 100 fake eyelashes.

#7 Not sponsored.

Jenna Marbles isn't sponsored by any of the makeup companies she used. She doesn't do product placement, unlike a lot of other Youtube stars.

#8 Spray tan.

A bug flew into her spray tan and died! She said the multiple layers of spray tan made her arms look like "hot dogs." "I did not mean to be problematic with this," she said about the 100 coat of spray tan.

#9 Can’t emote.

Too much makeup can obscure your expressions. Her boyfriend commented that he couldn't tell her emotions from one another. "I look beautiful, but I can't emote!" she joked.

#10 The lashes.

The fake eyelashes are the most absurd part of the video. She really looks like she has fuzzy caterpillars on her eyes. Can she even blink?!

#11 The lipstick.

She had a really hard time drying all the coats of lipstick. They wouldn't dry, so she had to blow dry her lips.

#12 Coat number 60.

"A lot of my soul is dead, but this is coat number 60," she said as she applied another coat of lipstick. She looked like her face was really uncomfortable with the excess of makeup.

#13 Skin.

The foundation got really gross. She truly looked like she was wearing a mask. "It looks like you cut Jenna's face off and used it as a face," her boyfriend said.

#14 Hairspray.

Marbles worried that the hairspray might actually make her hair fall out. But it just became really brittle. She said it felt "like glue."

#15 End result.

The end results were really scary. "I wouldn't wish this on anyone ever," Marbles said. She added she didn't know if her face would ever "feel clean."
