#1 Wingsuit Jumping

This looks like it's a lot of fun, and many people are trying it theses days. The suits are often called 'flying squirrel suits' because they resemble a winged squirrel when inflated. Adrenaline junkies put on these suits and then jump off things, like very tall building, mountains, bridges, and even towers. Once you jump you start flying at around 100 mph depending on the wind, so it's pretty frightening. You are required to take a few lessons before flying on how to turn and the techniques, otherwise, you could slam face first into the side of a mountain.

#2 Extreme Bungy Jumping

Lots of adrenaline junkies to this for fun. Can you imagine? It's difficult to think about bungee jumping period but jumping off a very tall bridge over a waterfall or even of the side of a cliff, is another. Getting the courage to take this step would be insane, although many people have it on their bucket lists. I'm not sure I want to be thrust up and down on a piece of elastic just feet the ground below or inches from the walls of the cliff.

#3 Shark Diving

Who doesn't want one of their last big thrills to be trapped in a cage submerged in shark-infested waters? There are a few places around the world where you can pay to do this, and you get to feed various sharks including Great White sharks. In South Africa, Australia, even Hawaii, shark diving is something you can do for fun. It would be incredible to see such majestic creatures up close, but I've seen those videos online where the sharks break through the steel cages, and this one is near the bottom of my bucket list.

#4 Running With The Bulls

In many Spanish regions, most famously Pamplona, they still have the long historical traditions of bull runnings. In case you don't know what this is, they let mean and hungry bulls run through the city streets and charge after people who 'try' to run alongside the bulls as far as they can. many people are injured or killed every year, mostly tourists who probably have this event on their bucket lists. It's a treasured part of Spanish culture, but I prefer to let them keep it to themselves.

#5 Try Blowfish

Not that risky? Think again. Many people eat it, but it's rare and a delicacy. Eating a fish doesn't seem like a biggie, but when it's one of the world's most controversial food, that's pretty exciting. Blowfish, or Fugu as it's known, takes a specially trained chef to prepare. Served as a delicious sashimi, Fugu is Japan's most notorious dish because if prepared incorrectly, it means instant death. You have to be pretty brave to order the blowfish.

#6 Volcano Surfing

In Nicaragua, for example, it is possible to engage in volcano racing. This is where you hike a volcano, which is very hot by the way, with a wooden plank in tow, and try to make it to the opening of the volcano. Once there, you speed down the bank of volcanic ash on your plank to the bottom. It is harder and more dangerous than it sounds, but it does look like a lot of fun. Something to add to your bucket list if you can make the trek up and down the volcano.

#7 Climb Mount Everest

This is on many people's bucket list, but it's not as easy as hiking up any old hillside or mountain. Training for this intense endurance take years and years, so you'll need to get a start on this one asap if it's on your bucket list! Everest is the highest mountain in the world and summiting it is dangerous. At 29,000 feet it is over ten times the height of the tallest building in the world. The altitude is high and the oxygen is low.

#8 Climb Mount Everest

To summit means to pass an area called 'the death zone' where the temperatures dip very low and over 300 people have died trying to reach it, including 19 people in 2015, from an avalanche. If you're willing to try this one out before you die or kick that old bucket, be careful. There's no need to rush your due date.

#9 Stand On The North Pole

If you like cold temperatures and hiking, add this one to your bucket list. It's not as difficult as some of the other activities on the list since you can go on a guided tour these days and stand where the North Pole is supposed to be located. It’s one of the only two places on Earth where you’ll be facing the same direction no matter which way you turn. And besides, you’re on top of the world. That in itself should be enough.

#10 Zorbing

Remember when you were just a kid and you loved sliding down hills or rolling down them, thinking, 'I wish there was a big ball I could roll downhill in'? Well, you can add this to your bucket list now that you're an adult because it's a real thing. Zorbing is the recreation of rolling downhill inside an orb, generally made of transparent plastic. It is generally performed on a gentle slope, but can also be done on a level surface, permitting more rider control. These huge orbs come in two types, harnessed and non-harnessed. Harnessed orbs are designed for one or two persons and have harnesses, like seatbelts, that hold riders in place. The non-harnessed are for three riders and the very daring. This is popular in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, The United States, and England. I would definitely add this to my bucket list, but only on a really small hill with the seatbelts.

#11 Fly An Airplane

Many of you, obviously, already know how to do this and know the thrill it brings. But imagine being able to hop into the pilot's seat of a plane and taking off into the wild blue yonder. To get a pilots license you need to have 250 hours of flight time under your belt so if it's on your bucket list, you'd better get started now. Though for some, taking just the first lesson would be enough to tick it off their bucket list.

#12 Skydiving

Keeping it 'air' related, this one is an activity that thrill seekers already enjoy a lot as well, but for some, it might take some persuading. Jumping from a plane, pulling a cord on a parachute, and seeing the curvature of the Earth below as you free fall down to the ground must be amazing, and the views and perspective would me magnificent. First timers always need a lesson or two and then fly in tandem with an expert, but it's still something you might want to save for a but before trying.

#13 Going To Outer Space

More in the same vein, how would you like to go to outer space before dying? Who knows, maybe out there you won't die and life continues. Only a few hundred people have gone to space in the history of our world, but with the innovation advancing so quickly, it seems plausible that space travel may soon be a reality for the everyday person. Expensive at first, but scientists believe this will be a normal event in the not so distant future. The ultimate bucket list goal, to see the Earth from above the world put your entire life into total perspective. Imagine the views alone. I'd go to space in a heartbeat and it's on my bucket list, but it's probably more dangerous than everything on this list combined.
