Jacoby Smith, who sounds like a real sweetheart, thought the appropriate way to teach his girlfriend, Tiesha Bell , not to roll her wheelchair in front of the TV set would be physical confrontation. He hit her in the face 10 times in order to get his point across. Smith doesn't deny the attack, but is quick to note that he did it in self-defense. Bell had both hands and both legs amputated due to a childhood illness. He also claims that she had been cheating on him prior to the fight and that the amputee also threw her bed pan filled with urine at him during the altercation. Is there really anything else to add at this point? Actually, there is. Bell still plans to marry him. "We both need anger management," she said.

#2 The Guy Who Sent Nude Pictures Of His Ex -- To Her Family

While he and one recent girlfriend were dating, Dave Simmons (who is 51, and way too old to be pulling ridiculous schemes like this) took pictures of her engaged in sexual acts (with him) without her knowledge or consent. After the couple went through a nasty breakup, Simmons did what any jilted lover would: he had the sexy pics made into Christmas cards. And sent them to her entire family.

Ex-Marine Jebidiah James Stipe was angry that his ex-girlfriend broke up with him, so he impersonated her on Craigslist, placing an ad claiming she was looking to play out a "rape fantasy." The ad stated that she (Jebidiah) was looking for a "a real aggressive man with no concern for women." Ty Oliver McDowell responded and followed through with the request, forcibly entering the woman's home, tying her up and raping her at gunpoint. For his part in the crime, Stipe received 60 years to life in prison.

#4 The Teen Who Killed His Ex-GF -- For A Free Breakfast

Yes, this story is just as terrible as it sounds. An unnamed 15-year-old British teen was charged with murdering his ex-girlfriend by repeatedly hitting her over the head with a rock -- and said he did it on a bet for a free breakfast. The teen had allegedly been bragging about how easy it would be to kill someone, and several friends encouraged him -- via text -- to prove it. "What would you do if I actually did kill her?" read one exchange. "Oh, I would buy you breakfast," his friend replied. A few days later, the teen wrote his friend, "Don't say anything but you may just owe me breakfast." He also apparently complained to friends that snapping the girl's neck was difficult. "Do you know how hard it is to break someone's neck? She was facing away from me and I thought ‘This is it, I'm going to go for it. I'm going to break her neck,'" he was quoted as saying. "She was screaming so I picked up a rock and started to hit her. The worst part was feeling and seeing her skull give way."

In 2010, Seemona Sumasar was arrested and put in prison for holding up three people at gunpoint. The only problem? She hadn't done the crime, and in fact, Sumasar's ex-boyfriend Jerry Ramrattan had framed her for the burglary. It seems Ramrattan was angry that Sumasar had accused him of raping her, and so he used intimidation and bribery to convince three illegal immigrants to claim that Sumasar had robbed them at gunpoint. (Ramrattan gave the "victims" Sumasar's sister's license plate number to recite to the police.) Cops didn't question their stories, and Sumasar languished in jail for seven months awaiting trial, until an anonymous informant told the police that Ramrattan had set the whole thing up. "It was like an episode of 'Law & Order,'" said police. "He's a cop wannabe. He knew police procedure. He prepped the witnesses so well. He told one to give partial plates in order to be good, but not so good, so he seemed credible. He picked people he knew, but who didn't know each other. And he used different phones to contact them all. It was very clever," said District Attorney spokesperson Carol Trottere.

Shane Webber loved his girlfriend Ruth Jeffery so much and he never wanted her to leave him. So, he did the smart thing and created a creepy stalker character that haunted her online and off for more than three years. The "stalker" sent nude photos of her to friends and family and even sent photos of Jeffery to amateur porn sites. Webber also impersonated Jeffery online, posing as her via multiple accounts. The abuse continued for several years, causing Jeffery extreme emotional distress and panic. She eventually realized that Webber might be behind the harassment after some of the messages contained information that only he could have known. He was arrested and charged with harassment. Yes, that sounds about right.

All California gang member Santiago Martinez wanted was a little help. A little help from his girlfriend Myra Orozco in disposing of the remains of murdered previous girlfriend Christina Wilkerson. But Myra was noncompliant, and so Martinez did the only thing he could do -- he murdered her, too. And now he's been convicted of both murders and sentenced to death.

A Buffalo man faked his own death after getting his girlfriend's 11-year-old daughter pregnant. Edtition Thompson is now facing possible life in prison. The 33-year-old fled Buffalo last summer and had his family staged a fake memorial service. After being arrested he has already faked a heart attack and suicide attempt.

#10 The Guy Who Killed His Girlfriend's Cat In "Self-Defense"

Joseph Petcka, who played a minor role on "Sex and the City," claimed he killed his girlfriend Lisa Altobelli's cat Norman in self-defense. The only problem? The seven-pound tabby cat was actually declawed. Petcka was overcome with jealousy of Norman, and told Altobelli that he believed she loved the cat more than him. One night, Petcka assaulted Altobelli and she fled, but the cat was left behind with Petcka, who reportedly beat the animal into a pulp. The case ended in a hung jury. Ironically (unbelievably ironically), his IMDB profile claims he's appeared in both "What Women Want" and "Gratuitous Violence."

#11 The HIV+ Man Who Faked His Results To Have Sex With His Girlfriend

A Queens man passed off a fake HIV test on his girlfriend to deceive her into having unprotected sex with him -- though he was actually HIV positive. The unnamed woman wouldn't go bareback with Duane Lang, 47, until he submitted proof of his status, so he fabricated a document from the AIDS Center of Queens County in Rego Park saying he had tested negative in a rapid HIV test. (The AIDS Center's medical director confirms that the document is a fake -- his name is even misspelled on it.) In March the woman got suspicious and he admitted not only that the test was fake, but that he'd been positive for years. The HIV status of the woman, who had unprotected sex with Lang several times, is unknown. Lang was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and forgery. He faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.

#12 The Man Who Made His Pregnant GF Sign A Contract Allowing Him To Beat Her

Graydon Smith's career in contract law is off to an unpromising start. Police were called to the Haller Lake home of the 31-year-old's parents. There, Smith's pregnant 19-year-old girlfriend told them that her boyfriend had threatened to kill her. She took these threats seriously because Smith had beat her up in past. He'd also asked her to sign an "abuse contract:" a letter that stated he was free to pound on her as much as he wanted for perpetuity, so long as he avoided her pregnant belly. When cops contacted Smith by phone he denied the abuse. But strangely, he admitted to the part about the contract. Which in a way is an admission. Or at least an admission of profound stupidity. For some reason, it took cops another month and another incident to arrest Smith. This time, it was his stepfather who called 911. The dad had confronted Smith after he watched him choke his girlfriend for 10 seconds. Unhappy with the interruption, Smith tried to land a shot on pop's face but only ended up with a glancing blow.

When cops arrived they found the girlfriend bleeding from the face with a contusion on the back of her head. Smith was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, two counts of fourth-degree assault and two counts of felony harassment.

#13 The Nut Who Broke Up With His Girlfriend By Leaving Road Signs

Being dumped isn't fun at the best of times, but imagine one Australian woman's surprise when her boyfriend publicly finished with her by leaving signs on a busy road. The woman, named Jennifer, has become the talk of New South Wales after she was dumped in what could be one of the most embarrassing public break-ups of all time. The mystery woman's supposed lover erected five separate signs overnight on the area's busiest road. His feelings started out as romantic, with ‘Jennifer, will you marry me?' But the proposal was quickly followed by two very different signs: ‘Just kidding' and ‘I'm breaking up with you'. The final rather blunt sign simply read: You have six days to move out.

#14 The Boyfriend Who Robbed His Pregnant Girlfriend For Beer Money

Michael Vinson's girlfriend thought she was ready to deliver their child and told him she needed to go to the hospital. Instead of taking her to the hospital, he punched her in the head twice, waved a knife in her face, threatened to kill her, robbed her for beer money and hung up the phone when she was trying to dial 911. What a gentleman. The woman eventually got help and made it to the hospital, where she was treated for the injuries Vinson caused. As far as we know, it was a false alarm and the baby still hasn't been born yet but we hope she soon has a happy Mother's Day without that loser BF.
