Theo James Reveals Woman Left 'Small Turd' In His Bath After Their Disastrous First Date

Theo James, known for his role in "The Gentlemen," recently shared an amusing yet eyebrow-raising story from his days before fame.

Many of us have had our fair share of dating disasters, but Theo James' story might just take the cake.

Even as a well-known actor at 39, Theo James continues to captivate audiences.

Yet, he's just as human as anyone else, with personal anecdotes that remind us that stars aren't so different after all.

James is quite open about his life before becoming a celebrated actor. 

During a game of 'Two Truths and a Lie' at an Emmys FYC panel hosted by Entertainment Weekly, he divulged an interesting fact.

He revealed that he is not related to actor Brian Cox, contrary to what some might have believed.

What caught the internet off guard was his recollection of a peculiar parting gift a date left him during his university days.

With a chuckle, he recounted, "At university, I went on a date that I thought went pretty well.

"We had some fun, we were young, dumb, and full of fun."

But the next morning brought a surprise. 

"And in the morning she had left, and there was a present for me in the bath. And it was a small turd." 

This bizarre revelation had the audience roaring with laughter.

Trying to shift the atmosphere to a lighter note, he shared another personal tidbit: "I'm a quarter Greek!"

This mix of humor and personal revelations shows a side of James that public rarely sees.

Theo James has since settled down with Irish actor Ruth Kearney. 

The couple, both 39, tied the knot in 2018 and have two children together.

Reflecting on his pre-acting days, James had an interesting job that might surprise many. 

He worked part-time for the NHS, dealing with rather somber tasks.

"My mum set me up [with] one of many jobs, you know, that you had early in your career, and I had to go and collect furniture and then clean it down," he shared with LADbible.

He explained the challenging nature of his job:

"Yeah, it was actually pretty tricky, because what you had to do is inevitably after, this is pretty dark, but after someone passes away, they have a bunch of stuff that needs to be used for someone else in the NHS system."

"So you had to go into these homes with these grieving people and I’ll be like 'Can I have that bed back?’"

This job, though grim, was a far cry from the glamorous acting roles he would take on later, showing the varied paths life can take.
