#1 Stop being so cocky dude.

You might have shortcomings but trust me, arrogance is not the way to overcome them. No matter how boring, insecure, or lame you think you are, being arrogant will not cover up those traits. It will only turn her off. Instead of being cocky, try being humble. Let the things that fuel your arrogance come about naturally during a conversation instead of leading with how great you are. She will be more interested in you. I promise.

#2 She's just way out of your league.

It might sound like a cliche or something made up by Hollywood but it's true. Some women are just out of your league dude. Aim lower. Maybe you're too old or you're not well off enough for her tastes. People have their preferences and if you don't fit them there isn't much you can do about it. Don't give up trying. Sometimes you never know, but in most cases, you will crash and burn. Lower the bar and stop trying to go for the chick with supermodel looks. Average women are amazing too you know.

#3 You're way too shallow and self-absorbed.

Pay attention to the conversations you have with people. If 90% of them revolve around you talking about yourself, shut up and let someone else talk for a bit. Instead of hogging the floor let her have the attention. You're not impressing her and most likely, she's ready to leave by the 2nd time that you've interrupted her to tell her how your similar story is better. This one is self-explanatory so I won't spend too much time on it. If she can smell you and it's not a pleasant smell she's going to pass bro. She might try to be polite about it but you reek. Go bathe, brush your teeth, get a haircut, put on some deodorant, change your clothes more than once a week and then watch as your dating prospects drastically improve.

#5 You're a jerk.

Stop being a jerk dude. Society might make you think that women want the bad boy that's an asshole to everyone but it's not true. If you're a rude prick to her and everyone you speak to there is a good chance she is just going to curb you and never call you again. Try being a nice person and see how far it gets you.
