Let's face it. Moms tend to naturally rock at parenting. Dads, on the other hand, seem to fumble, but are they really that bad? The answer is no. You won't believe some of the "Dad Ingenuity" used to make regular parenting tasks more efficient for them.
These Dads Are Either Super Lazy Or Secret Geniuses. You Decide.
#1
Apparently kids love chasing the laser light just as much as a cat does.
#2
This dad didn't quite want to prepare the avocado and pasta his wife left out to make for his son while she was away.
What did he do instead? He decided to take a little trip to McDonald's to make things easier. It ends up being more difficult than making what she left out to begin with.
#3
Nothing is more fun for the gamer dad than spending time bonding with his child over a good game, but I think this little guy is a bit too young to truly enjoy the experience like his dad is.
#4
Wanna save some money? Hook up your drill instead of buying your baby one of them new fancy "soothing baby chairs."
#5
Mom must have really wanted one of those unconventional trees that comes predecorated. This is not only genius in fulfilling that request, but it makes Christmas clean up a breeze.
#6
Looks like dad took "semi-formal" quite literally. His "laziness" helped create a super funny memory that will be talked about for years and years.
#7
I find this one to be super genius! Why would you want to wash the balls one at a time and by hand? Who does that?
#8
This dad decided to bring the park to the kids instead of taking them to a real one. It looks plenty fun, but it also looks a bit dangerous.
#9
This is a pretty great idea too. It keeps you from having to decorate the tree every year.
#10
I've seen people operate those hoverboards, which is making me a little nervous seeing this. Not to mention the coffee in his hand. We're just going to have to turn away and move on.
#11
This dad is saving as much mental power as possible by identifying and labeling his child.
#12
Even Dad has no idea how to fold a fitted sheet. We understand.
#13
This may not be the most sanitary thing to do to your child, but it gets the job done... I mean let's face it, even us women have a hard time with our pony tails sometimes too.
#14
When Dad doesn't take the time to read the card he picked out for Mom on Valentine's Day.
#15
Dad decided to skip piano lessons and send Mom selfies instead.
#16
When the weather is bad, but she really wants to go to the park, this dad becomes the playground.
#17
Nothing like being extra manly when helping your wife in the kitchen.
#18
We are really hoping that this is just staged because this says "Bad Idea" all over it... There are just too many things that can go wrong here. Do not try this at home, folks!
#19
Keeping your toddler who loves to draw on the house walls occupied is now even easier. Just plop him or her in a big ol' box and toss in a few crayons. It will keep them entertained for hours.
#20
Now this is just lazy.
#21
Looks like this dad has learned that putting the child down once they fall asleep can lead to a screaming baby. Now, he won't miss any meals during this time either.
#22
This is genius and really works great. Put some rice in an old glove and lay it on a baby's back as you put them down makes them feel like they are still being held and there is less chance of them waking right back up and screaming.
#23
From experience, there is no way that baby is going to stay still enough to make this last for more than 10 seconds.
#24
Dad literally puts some spaghetti on the stove after his wife requests he do so.
#25
When you do not have a wet wipe, your tongue totally works.
#26
This attentive dad got way to involved with the baby's toys.
#27
Multi-tasking!
#28
Hey at least he is spending time with his kiddo and not just glued to the computer games.
#29
When you don't have a proper stroller, one must improvise.
