"I was about 9 years old when I was walking down some stairs in my aunts house where they have a mirror hanging on a wall at the end of the stairs so you could see behind you as you walk down. Well I saw my cousin behind me so I turned around & yelled 'Louie' but he disappeared so I ran back up the stairs looking for him in every room. I couldn't find him so I run downstairs & ask my aunt if she's seen him & she got mad & told me it wasn't funny & then she finally realized that I wasn't lying that I saw him & she broke into tears wanting to know everything he said. Later I found out he passed away recently & no one told me yet so I freaked out especially because I spent the night in his old room. His dog 'wrinkles' still barks at his chair as if someone is sitting there." Sharon J.

"...When my oldest son was about 2 1/2 we were walking around our neighborhood and stopped at a house that was for sale. We talked about looking into it, and asked our son what he thought about the house. He said he didn't like it because the grandma killed the little boy in the attic. "I was 4 and I saw the devil in our driveway. I used to climb up on our mantel and there was a window that looked out onto the drive. For years after i wouldn't go to that end of the mantel. The reason I think it was real is he looked like an evil man until I got to his feet. They were hooves. At 4 I would have had no way of knowing what that meant. My childhood home is in close proximity to an old cemetery and an alley behind us has a big house where a woman committed suicide. It was always creepy!" Barb B.

#7 The Man Who Lives in the Vent
"I've not yet lived in a place that didn't have something. The last house I lived in, the first week I lived there, I was in my room going to bed and I heard a huge bang against my bedroom door, the door actually moved. It sounded like metal. When I finally got the courage to look, nothing was in the hall but all the dishes from the strainer were scattered around the kitchen floor. In the bathroom, all my Shampoo's and such would fall into the tub and break. Only mine, no one else's. I watched my phone slide off the the sink and fly into the toilet about a foot away, doors would open on their own, my son used to tell me about the man that came out of his vent. I would hear my son (2 at the time) talking to someone at night, when my son wasn't home I would have to unplug the monitor because I could hear breathing and noises through it when no one was home but me." "We always catch orbs on camera. We can always see something small and black duck or dart by. One time in 2006 I just had my daughter. My son was 5 at the time. We were in the living room and we had the couch bed pulled out. My daughter was laying in front of me and my son was standing next to me. He said, momma, what's that white thing? Not paying much attention to the question, I said what white thing baby? He said, that white thing behind you peeking like this. You had to see him act it out, his eyes and facial expression were horrifying. He looked evil. I grabbed my kids as fast as I could and we waited on the porch for my husband. He had several more sightings in the next 6 years we lived there." Karen H.

"I've experienced things my entire life but the craziest happened a few months after my cousin was killed in a car accident. He and I were very close and I was struggling with his death. I had been begging for some sort of sign from him to show me he was still around. One night as I was laying down trying to get to sleep, I started hearing what sounded like footsteps in my hallway outside of my bedroom. I opened the door and didn't see anything. A few seconds later, I started hearing a scratching noise. I thought it was my cat so I ignored it. I then heard a thump followed by more footsteps and then silence. I put it out of my mind as something that was just weird until the next morning. It was summer so my house was pretty dusty from all of the dirt flying through my open windows. My living room had all black furniture, including a small shelving unit where I had several pictures in frames. I happened to look down to the top of the shelf and noticed that the picture I had of my cousin and his daughter had fallen on the floor. At first I thought it was my cat but there were no paw prints in the dust. She jumped up as I was looking and sure enough, left paw prints behind. So, I figured it might be his way of telling me that he is still around. I said, outloud, Jordan, if that was you, do it again. For several weeks, this exact situation happened at least once per week. I then hung his picture in a frame on the wall. As I walked past it one morning, it started tapping against the wall. I sat down an it stopped so I didn't think anything of it. However, when I mentioned that the picture hadn't moved lately, the picture started tapping against the wall again. I honestly believe that playing with his picture was how he told me he is still around." Laura S.
