These Witty Responses To Public Signs Are So Funny

Student Help

It is really nice to see students trying to help other people become successful. However, when this guy bragged about his six-figure income, it should have come as no surprise that someone else had to retort with their struggle. Thank goodness it was funny instead of rude.

Oh, Alf!

No one has seen ALF since March 24, 1990. It seems that he has finally come out of hiding because he was obviously starving. Instead of "hide yo kids, hide yo wife" you better hide yo cats. At least the family got some closure. Poor Perdu.

Locked Doors

We could see how someone throwing paper towels in the toilet could become an issue, but is locking the door really the best solution? It seems like it has completely backfired and caused a whole slew of new issues for the management here. We would think it would be easier to plunge a toilet now and then instead of having to keep mopping piss off the floor.

Stolen Bike

Only in New Jersey would you find a post selling a bike next to the post about the same bike being stolen. Miguel is basically saying "F the police" by posting this sign and his phone number. We hope that it is a joke, but if not, and Miguel is really that stupid, he will get what he deserves.

Not My Hairband

We are pretty sure that whoever lost that hairband and chapstick are not that worried about it. They are super cheap to buy after all. You have to appreciate the ingenuity of the guy who posted the picture of his hair band. It is quite funny.

Lost iPod

It really sucks when you lose an expensive device, especially if it is something that you use almost every day. We are not really sure what is going on here with the second sign. Did they lose one too, or are they just trying to be funny? You decide.

Do you want to build a snowman?

It looks like everyone is going to get together and have some winter fun. What is more fun that building a snowman? Destroying one, that is so much more fun. Let's just hope that the whole thing ends in a big snowball fight between the two groups instead of fisticuffs.

Grammar Police

If you are going to make a public sign, it is best to be sure that you use proper spelling and grammar. If you don't, then your sign will not be taken seriously. Plus, it opens you up to being trolled instead of getting your point across.

Time to Chill

It appears that the person who made this sign is a bit stressed out. We can only guess that they are not a smoker, and the scent is really starting to grate their nerves. Instead of the stoner putting a halt to their offensive activities, it seems they decided to pass an olive branch or a joint, we should say, instead.

Bad Machine

Nothing sucks more than a vending machine that is eating money, and the business is not offering refunds or credits for the lost money. It only seems appropriate that someone put a sign from the machine on there to prove that no one cares that people are losing money in it.
