Would you have ever guessed that he's 80 years old? Born in northeastern China, Wang later committed his life to the arts.

At 24, he began acting at the Changchun Theater and later practiced mime. In 2015, he made international news when he hit the runway for China Fashion Week

His training as a mime led him to coach models. According to The Global Times, one of these models later worked for Hu Sheguang and invited Wang to showcase some of his designs decades later. Here's the result.

After working as a mime, he struggled with securing traditional acting jobs. That's when he decided to create his own form of silent performance art called 'living sculpture.'

Wang went on perform in Germany, France, South Korea, and more. His exhibitions featured his body, often painted, as he posed for hours at a time.

At 50, Wang hit the gym for up to four hours each day to obtain his desired look.

He maintains those results today. His high energy, which deviated from the usual slow, sultry catwalk, had heads turning at the fashion show.

A video of Wang's refreshing catwalk has earned millions of views. Today, he updates fans on Weibo, a microblogging site, about current projects. He still works out for two hours each day.

People all over the world are thanking Wang for his hard work and for motivating them to achieve their own goals.

City Weekend featured Wang Deshun alongside his daughter, QQ, an award-winning DJ and fashionista.
