Hoedspruit Endangered Species Center from Pretoria, South Africa were called to attention when they had heard news of a rhino being killed. As sad as this was, their hearts sunk when they heard that the mother’s baby was still by his mother’s side crying uncontrollably. They rushed to the scene to rescue this little baby who just lost his mother to poachers. They arrived on scene to find a brutally murdered mother Rhino missing her horns. Next to her side was her infant rhino crying. The baby rhino was placed under sedation so they could safely take him from the grueling scene.

I can't believe people actually commit crimes against these beautiful animals. They are so amazing and vital to our being. We need to respect and cherish these innocent animals. Thankfully there are organizations out there like the HESC who devote their hearts to saving endangered animals.
