This bride-to-be decided a deal worth $2,000 wasn't good enough and demanded that a complete stranger give her $4,000 worth of wedding favours for free.
Screenshots of a conversation between a man who does 3D printing as a hobby and a bride-to-be were first posted to Reddit.
The conversation started normally when she reached out to ask about the tiny wheelbarrows the guy had made for his best friend's wedding. We agree, they are cute.
Things were going well and she was excited to place an order for 250 of these cute little things with custom initials on one side and their wedding date on the other.
He gave her a soft warning about the expense but none of us were prepared for the level of entitlement she would then throw at them.
She called the price of $2,000 outrageous, ignoring the fact that he had already given her a deal and a literal $1,000 discount.
She admitted she didn't know anyone who did something as specialised as what he did.
She blamed him for taking advantage of her because it's a wedding.
He clarified that the wedding had nothing to do with it and that he wasn't overcharging.
This is when she asked for a price breakdown, claiming that he probably spend $1 a day to run his machine.
She didn't know she was actually about to get one.
She kept trying to pretend that the cost should be lower.
That's when he revealed that the true cost of what she was asking for was $4,718 and that he was in fact being super generous by offering to do it in $2,000.
She however kept escalating the situation, saying that he was only sitting on his *ss.
He even offered to make the mould so someone else could make it for her cheaper but she didn't know anyone who could do that for her.
He even offered to throw in some small freebies.
She accused him of playing favourites and giving his friend these things for free.
She asked why she couldn't get them for free as well.
When posed with this ridiculous question, he said that he had given them for free to his best friend and that the offer wasn't open for everyone.
She then straight up just asked him to give them to her for free.
After he refused she decided to resort to a few choice words telling him to "f*ck off"
he got the final say when he upped the price to the actual $4,718 and taking the high road.
This user said what we were all thinking.
While this one had a brilliant idea.
This one explained that 3D printing for bulk orders was not a good idea to begin with.
In any case, OP dodged a bullet on this one
