We have all had bad experiences when going through your favorite fast food drive-thrus. This guy's experience with his local McDonald's was so bizarre that he tweeted the entire experience for the world to see. His step-by-step recollections are so detailed that you might not even believe that something like this really happened. We would tell you more, but you will have to read it to believe it.
This Guy's Entire Trip To McDonald's Is One Epic Fail
Late night treat
Josh found himself up late one night. He decided that he wanted to head over to his local golden arches for a sweet treat. He was greeted in the most unprofessional of manners.
Slow Night
It was a slow night, but the worker still begs for Josh's patience with him even though there are no other customers around. After a bit of time, the worker finally asks for Josh's order.
Just a milkshake
We all know it is a coin toss when asking for a milkshake at McDonald's. Their machines seem to break down a lot, so being able to actually order one would be a real treat. Sadly, there was no milkshake in Josh's future. The worker offers apple pies instead. Josh seems to be concerned with the worker's behavior, so he asks the guy if he is okay.
Things are not okay
This guy seems to not be okay and having a really bad night. Josh seems understanding and goes ahead and orders a chicken sandwich. However, the worker seems to be utterly befuddled with the request. He just can't seem to enter his order properly and finally admits that he lost his wife.
So Sorry
Josh seems honestly sorry for what this poor worker is going through. Since he was so kind to the worker, the worker apologizes for the milkshake machine being down and offers him apple pie instead.
He finds her
Then, the man just bursts out screaming that he found his wife and that she was watching him from behind some boxes. Josh seems to be confused as to what is really going on and is really no longer interested in anything since he had been there so long dealing with this strange worker.
How Much?
Clearly flustered about the whole situation, Josh just asks for the total for his order. And, apparently, the wife wants her husband to offer Josh an additional apple pie at a small discount.
Savings
If he gets two apple pies instead of one, he will save almost 40 cents, so Josh would be a fool to pass up that deal. The wife is elated and thanks Josh for his order even though Josh has no idea why he is even speaking with her instead of the first worker. Then, once he pulls up to the window, he gets stuck staring at a gross public display of affection between the pair.
Gross
Nobody wants to see that. It is one thing for a couple of young folks to be making out in public, but it is a whole other thing seeing two middle-aged people making out in such an unprofessional way.
What?
The worker makes a statement that he has not worked in McDonald's for 16 years. Times must be tough, so Josh tells him that all is fine. Then, the worker proceeds to curse while explaining what FINE stands for in his mind. His wife gets a dig in too. Then, after already being at MCDonald's for more than 30 minutes, they begin to recount Josh with the story of how they met.
Next window please
The guy at the second window seems to be normal and gets the job done quickly. Josh pays and receives his order. The poor guy in the window tells Josh that at least he gets to drive away. You have to feel sorry for the people who are stuck working with that couple all night long. The sad part about this whole story is that Josh just wanted a shake and all he got was a mis-made chicken sandwich and a couple of apple pies for almost an hour of his time.
