9-year-old Marley came home from school one day and hears a little kitten meowing. She took her bag off in her room and went to investigate. She found the tiny kitten in a box. Marley had no idea that her mother had put together this very cute surprise.

Marley's mother decided to make this special surprise for her daughter happen because their family had lost their previous cat Simon the previous year to old age. Marley was devastated by the loss. Just by chance, it turned out that a rescue kitten would come into their world as if it was fated to happen.
Her mother said: "Marley had NO IDEA, she had come home from a friend's house and the rest is history!"
When she picks up the kitten, now named Ella, Marley holds her close and asks her mom "Do we get to keep it?" while crying tears of joy. Her mom says: "yes! Are you happy?!" Marley repeatedly says "Thank you, mama, thank you!"
