This Man Saw A Driver Trapped In A Burning Car. Then My Jaw Dropped.

#1 A man was rescued from a burning car by a complete stranger whose cell phone captured the incredible event.

He risked his own life to rescue a man who was trapped in a burning car.

The flames are roaring high nearest the front of the car.

#3 In an extraordinary turn of events, pedestrian Santiago Portillo runs to the trapped man’s aid.

The fantastic video shows him running to the car and checking to see if anyone is inside.

#4 He knows he would be a hero because a flaming car landed in his parking lot and he took action

#5 When he spots the unfortunate driver, he ducks down and pulls the victim away from the flaming wreck.

#5 After initially getting the man out of the car, the man looks around then pulls him further away from the burning vehicle.

The victim tries to get up, but collapses to the ground.

#7 Santiago Portillo said he was at work in a mattress store Tuesday when he spotted the burning car.

#7 He was busy recording the inferno when he realized someone was trapped inside the vehicle, he said.

#9 He put down the phone, but it kept recording as he pulled the driver from the wreckage with flames licking his heels.

After getting help from another passer-by, the victim is lifted away from the area.

#11 Mr Portillo told Riverside Press Enterprise: “It looked unreal. The black smoke was choking me.

"The car was totalled, everything was collapsed in the car."
