Ever wondered what it would be like to cosplay as an actual toy?
Stop wondering. Someone has already done it. And it wasn't a good idea.
Frank Ippolito dreamed up a nightmare scenario in which Lego people were real people with actual human flesh, and he made it a reality.
This is probably the image that comes to mind when you hear the words "LEGO man." He's cute, approachable, and not even a little bit terrifying.
This LEGO man, on the other hand, will forever ruin your fond childhood memories. Everything is certainly not awesome!
With the help of artist Frank Ippolito, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman (of "Mythbusters" fame) built a life-sized LEGO man suit.
They made it out of clay and pliable plastic.
This LEGO man has realistic human features, beady black eyes, two claw-shaped hands with fingernails, and even a peg-shaped head piece.
Surprisingly, it took Ippolito only a week to build the character. You'd expect cosplay this realistic to take months!
LEGO man made his debut at San Diego Comic Con this year, and kids LOVED him.
