In the office

A member of the school's resource center approached Officer Mitch and told him about a "situation" that needed immediate attention. She explained that a student was in trouble for inappropriate content of her uploaded online video.

Surprise

She pressed the play button, there was a very special video message to him from his students. The students had paired up with a clothing company called Dude.be nice to make him a heartwarming video thanking him for being such an influential and important part of their lives. Dude.be nice helps create heartwarming surprises for those who are a positive influence on others and making a difference in the world. They honor people like Officer Mitch.

Flash mob

The video was filled with messages from students expressing their love and admiration for him. It's obvious that while the students are crazy about Officer Mitch, he is crazy about them as well.

But the love fest wasn't over yet. After he watched the video, he was greeted by a mob of students cheering for him and celebrating him.

Gifts

And if that wasn't enough, they then led him to a stage and showered him with gifts, thank-you notes, Miami Heat tickets, Marlins tickets and a Dan Marino Jersey. He is originally from Ft. Lauderdale and is a huge fan of their sports teams, so their gifts hit close to home.

After the gifts, the students ended the ceremony chanting, "I believe that Mitch is great!" over and over again, just in case he had any doubt on how they feel about him.
