Parenthood comes with its struggles, and nobody knows this better than Lauren Ball. As her son's birthday inched closer and closer, he continued to ask his beloved mother for a SpongeBob SquarePants themed birthday party. Even though she didn't have much money to spare, she promised her son that she would make it happen.

#1 So Lauren made a sacrifice
She gave her son the party he always wanted, but in doing so found her bank account looking pretty empty. So she did what any hardworking mother would do she picked up a midnight shift at the local restaurant where she worked.
#2 She had no idea how important that shift would end up being.
Her shift started off like any other, and though she was tired, she tried her best to wear a smile and to converse with the late-night customers. Two young male customers were so impressed with Lauren's service that they decided to show their gratitude.

#3 When they received their $24.29 bill, the two gentlemen decided to leave Lauren a surprise.
The two men left Lauren a hefty $600 tip for her hard work and kindness! She couldn't believe it. In fact, her manager ran after the two men to make sure they hadn't made a mistake! But as luck would have it, these two men just wanted to help out a young mother in need. When asked about the whole experience, Ball made it clear just how grateful she really was.
#4 "The fact that someone would do something so nice for me, it's just the craziest thing to me, I can't thank them enough!"
I guess there really are good people out there!
