The internet came across the best Tinder bio possibly ever this week, and, well—see for yourself. It was created by a woman who is missing one arm.
Of course, everyone fell in love with her.
But the real fun happened when Lauren—the creator of the profile—discovered that her Tinder profile had gone viral.
21-year-old Lauren from San Diego lost her arm about a year ago in an unfortunate moped accident.
Lauren told BuzzFeed News.
“I was going pretty fast on a moped and lost control of it, and I hit the median in the road, I flew off and hit a sign and it sliced my arm off. I stayed conscious the whole time.”
“I remember I asked the cop, ‘Hey, am I gonna die?’ and he said, ‘No, you’ll be fine,'” she said.
By a stroke of luck, her life was saved by a police officer on the scene who had just received tourniquet training.
In an effort to cope with her loss, Lauren began poking fun at herself on social media.
“For a while, I wasn’t okay with the jokes,” Lauren admitted. “But then I started telling the jokes, and it’s kind of helped.”
Of course, everyone fell in love with her.

But the real fun happened when Lauren—the creator of the profile—discovered that her Tinder profile had gone viral.
"I got home pretty drunk, and I don't remember typing it up really," she told BuzzFeed in an interview. "I just woke up to someone DM'ing me a Reddit post asking if it was me, and I was like damn, I guess it is."
She’s also embraced her experience by posting pictures of herself.
“I have never really hid it,” she said. “People don’t see that very often, so a lot of people DM me to tell me it’s really helpful to them, people who are also missing limbs or are disabled.”
Some people feel uncomfortable laughing at her jokes, but Lauren encouraged it. “People always respond like, 'Oh, I feel bad for laughing,'" she said. "And I'm like, 'No! I think it’s funny—I made it!'"
It seems like she wasn’t lying about her 20/10 personality.
And although she’s certainly easy on the eyes, the fact that so many people are falling head over heels because of her bio proves it's not always about looks.
She's basically out of everyone's league.
