TikTok is unimpressed and criticizes this Florida woman after she shares her list of unrealistic and unfair tests that she carries out on men after the first date to check if they are worthy for second ones. While many lauded her list but after watching her video, people changed their minds and called her list childish and unfair with people telling Gabby she is expecting too much from men she is meeting for the first time on her first dates.
This Florida woman has recently sparked debate on TikTok after she reveals the 'little tests' she carries out to test men and if they meet her needs to get a chance of a second date with her.
Gabby (who goes by @respectfullygabby on the social media platform) shared the strict criteria the man she dates must meet in her video.
The video has gone viral for obvious reasons and people are criticising her for her unrealistic and unfair expectations from men.
People actually thought that her 'first date tests' seems like a clever idea, however, after watching her video and hearing her techniques, people couldn't help but slam the woman.
Gabby kicks off the video by saying: "Here are some tests I play on men in order to see if they'll be able to provide and protect me. Because if they're not, I don't f***ing need them. You shouldn't either."
The first test Gabby puts in place is making sure that she isn't asked to split the bill. "First thing's first: him paying for the date. Let’s stop this conversation and the back and forth, the 50/50, the bulls***. First date, he needs to be paying 100 per cent. And if he's not, then goodbye," she says.
The second test is to check for safety. If the date doesn't ensure that she has reached home safely, that is a big red flag for her.
"Immediately no. If you don’t care about my safety and making sure I get into my Uber safely, you’re done," she says in the video, adding: "And then, if you don't go ahead and double check I made it safely? Bye."
"Men, you need to be walking her to her car, to her Uber, to wherever to make sure she gets home safely. And then text her making sure she gets home safely," Gabby explains.
The third and final test is making sure a man will look after her if she's cold. "When we're out, if you have, like, a jacket on, or some kind of overshirt, I will always, without a doubt, say that I'm cold. 'Cause I wanna see if you will give me the shirt off your back, and if you don’t, you’re dead to me," she says.
Gabby's date tests have left the TikTok divided with some thinking it is a great idea. "Agreeeeeed. Any guy that has a problem with these is lacking in maturity," one user commented, while another added: "He needs to pay for *every date!!"
However, many pointed out how her tests are unrealistic and she is expecting too much from men who are literally strangers to her at the first date.
"Men don’t need to provide and protect for every single woman that they meet. [You're] confusing a 1st date with a husband or serious boyfriend," one wrote.
"Test this test that. What are we in high school? Stop with the games and communicate!! Way too grown for all this," added another.
