TikToker Kenny Cowtail decided to blow everyone’s minds by revealing the supremely easy option to block spam calls on people’s phones. Commenters however say it doesn’t work for everyone.
Kenny_Cowtail, a Tiktoker decided to blow everyone’s minds by bringing their attention to a feature that no one knew existed.
The world is exhausted by spam and scam calls that take up space in your call logs for no reason.
“It’s come to my attention a lot of y’all don’t know about this,” says the text on top of the video.
She then types “#662# into her phone’s call app.
She then gets a notification on her screen which says, “Success! Scam Block is now turned on. To turn off dial #632#”
Her caption says, “And just like that, spam calls are blocked. You’re welcome,”
While a lot of people loved the super simple solution, others revealed that it didn’t work for them.
Apparently, this service only works for T-mobile and MetroPCS users while others will simply have to try their luck.
One Verizon user also reported that the method worked for them.
While this particular method may not have worked for everyone, one user revealed that unknown numbers can be blocked by going into settings on your phone.
Unfortunately, that also means you can't make new friends.
The conversation also brought to light the ridiculous amount of spam calls everyone seems to get nowadays.
