Trump Issues Chilling Warning After Ditching G7 Early For 'Much Bigger' Crisis Amid Israel-Iran Tensions

Donald Trump sparked serious concern with a tense warning he posted online shortly after leaving the G7 summit earlier than planned, citing an issue he has yet to fully explain.

Over the past several days, things between Israel and Iran have gotten extremely intense. The situation escalated when Israel launched a surprise strike on Iranian military and nuclear sites. In response, Iran fired missiles back, including some aimed at Tel Aviv.

Given the gravity of the conflict, it’s almost certain this would have been a central topic of conversation among world leaders attending this year’s G7 gathering in Canada.

What made headlines even more was Trump’s statement on Truth Social this past Monday, June 16, where he addressed Iran’s nuclear ambitions once again and didn’t mince words.

Trump has long been urging Iran to agree to a new nuclear deal with the P5+1 group—a coalition made up of the US, UK, France, Germany, China, and Russia. These six powers have been in talks with Iran about its nuclear program since back in 2006.

In his latest post, Trump gave a blunt warning to Iran: "Iran should have signed the 'deal' I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!"

Alongside his fiery comments, Trump also left the G7 summit a day earlier than expected. French President Emmanuel Macron suggested that Trump’s early departure was to help broker a ceasefire deal between Israel and Iran.

But Trump wasn’t having it. He quickly responded online, saying his departure had nothing to do with a ceasefire effort. Instead, he claimed he was addressing something “much bigger.”

Not long after his original post, Trump followed up with a jab at Macron, writing: "Publicity seeking President Emmanuel Macron, of France, mistakenly said that I left the G7 Summit, in Canada, to go back to D.C. to work on a 'cease fire' between Israel and Iran."

"Wrong! He has no idea why I am now on my way to Washington, but it certainly has nothing to do with a Cease Fire. Much bigger than that. Whether purposely or not, Emmanuel always gets it wrong. Stay Tuned!"

Despite leaving before the summit officially wrapped up, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt assured the public that Trump had still managed to get a lot done while he was there.

She shared a statement on Twitter that said: "Much was accomplished, but because of what's going on in the Middle East, President Trump will be leaving tonight after dinner with Heads of State."
