Two Lunatics Find A Drainage Ditch And Decide To Conquer It
#1 Rush Sturges and Ben Marr
Kayaking can be a relaxing experience, full of gentle paddling through smooth rivers and tanning under a bright sun. It can also be pretty extreme, especially if you're into white-water kayaking. But even that looks positively tranquil next to what these lunatics did inside an 800-meter long drainage ditch in Lion's Bay, British Columbia.
#2 Finding The Best Spot
It took the two guys over an hour to find the right spot to launch their kayaks from. They had to carry them over 500 meters from the road to the ditch, getting exhausted along the way in the hot sun. "This is sketch. I don't like this at all. It's harder than I thought it was going to be," says Ben as they trek to find an opening on the hillside.
#3
After locating the perfect spot to take off from, on the incline where the fence is broken down, they then can't decide how to launch. "I think we should just go at the exact same time," Rush suggests after they iron out the details. This could be dangerous as they try to make it into the flowing waters without getting hurt.
#4 It's Go Time
Not even certain as to where the drainage ditch will lead, the two shove off. As soon as they hit the flowing water, they guys were flying, hitting speeds as high as 45 miles per hour! The two have no idea where the waters will end, but they risk it anyway for the thrills. I think I'll stick to the lazy river, thank you very much!

They caught everything on their GoPro. What a ride!
