The passenger said he was forced out of the toilet with his pants down
A man flying with United Airlines says he was removed from the plane after spending too long in the restroom due to constipation.
The flight was headed from Tulum, Mexico, to Houston when the incident unfolded. Yisroel Liebb, who lives in New Jersey, claims that after landing, he was escorted off the plane in handcuffs.
He said both he and his travel companion, Jacob Sebbag, missed their connecting flight because of the situation. According to Liebb, they were walked through the terminal by officials and later held in a cell.
In a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, March 19, Liebb stated he had been in the plane’s bathroom for about 20 minutes.
During that time, a crew member allegedly woke Sebbag, who had been napping, and asked him to check on his friend.
Liebb told Sebbag he was dealing with constipation and would be out shortly.
Ten minutes after that, Liebb says the pilot himself came and ordered him to come out of the restroom immediately.

Liebb claims he told the pilot again that he just needed a bit more time. But according to the lawsuit, the pilot broke the lock, forced open the door, and pulled Liebb out while his pants were still down.
As a result, he says his private parts were exposed to several people on the flight, including crew members and other passengers.
"The pilot became visibly enraged, broke the lock on the door and forced the door to the bathroom open, pulling Liebb out of the bathroom with his pants still around his ankles, exposing his genitalia to Sebbag, several flight attendants, and the nearby passengers on the plane,"

"With Sebbag leading Liebb, the pilot proceeded to repeatedly push the [two] back to their seats while making threats of getting [them] arrested and making scathing remarks about their Judaism, and how 'Jews act'."
Liebb says the whole ordeal left him feeling extremely humiliated and that being exposed like that in public made him feel violated.
After the two-hour flight landed in Houston, he and Sebbag say about six officers from Customs and Border Protection met them at the plane and escorted them off.

Even though United Airlines rescheduled their flight for the following day, the men say they lost money because they had to cover the cost of an unexpected hotel stay due to the delay.
They also reported that the handcuffs left them both with sore wrists that lasted for days afterward.
"CBP Officers responded to reports of a disturbance on a flight at the request of the airline,"
"Due to the ongoing litigation, we are unable to provide any further comment."
