While the letters were written by Princess Diana, the letters belonged to Cyril Dickman, was a steward at Buckingham Palace. He was one of the longest serving stewards at the palace, serving there for more than five decades.
These unseen letters reveal unknown family secrets, as well as personal details about the young Princes childhoods.
According to the letters, as well as Cyril himself, Prince William was utterly in love with his baby brother and showered him with affection after his birth in September 1984.
A touching letter written by the late Princess Diana reads: ‘William adores his little brother and spends the entire time swamping Harry with an endless supply of hugs and kisses, hardly letting the parents near!'
Diana also reveals that she and Prince Charles were ‘overwhelmed' by the reaction to Harry's birth and could ‘hardly breathe from the mass of flowers'.
A much later letter, dated July 18, 1993, reveals the naughty side of Prince Harry that we all know and love.
Diana wrote to Mr. Dickman: ‘The boys are well and enjoying boarding school a lot, although Harry is constantly in trouble!'
Prince Harry was a pupil at a private school in Berkshire at the time the letter was dated. and the letter shows he had a rebellious streak at a young age.
The letter shows us all that Prince Harry has always had a rebellious streak, even at a young age.
But what is even more extraordinary is Mr. Dickman's career.
He started working at Buckingham Palace during the 1940s, where he would watch out for fires on the roof of the palace.
Mr. Dickman was held in high esteem by the late Princess, which is reflected by the fact that Princess Diana confided in him about the death of Baroness Fermoy, her grandmother, in July 1993.
‘Thank you so much for your lovely letter concerning my Grandmother.
‘Her death came as a great shock, but it has meant an enormous amount to receive messages of support such as yours.
‘I often think of you and Mrs. Dickman and hope that life is treating you kindly.' This touching letter was dated from the 18th of July 1993.
Other items are being auctioned off, such as Christmas cards from Prince Charles, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

Mr. Dickman retired at the age of 65 and was made a Freeman of the City of London.
Mr. Dickman sadly died in 2012, aged 85. The letters were uncovered by his grandson, who was going through his belonging after Mr. Dickman's death.
The letters are valued at £15,000.
Dylan Mander, a specialist at Cambridge-based auctioneers Cheffins, which is auctioning off Mr. Dickman's letters, said: ‘Cyril's grandson came in and said while he was going through everything he found all of these amazing letters from Princess Diana.
‘The letters explained all different things how Harry had been naughty at school and how Harry was adored by his brother who would not stop kissing him.
‘It is incredibly rare to have letters from Princess Diana with such a personal touch to them.
‘She would not have had friends in the sense we do so you could say Cyril Dickman was one of her closest friends.'
