#1 Alice Through The Looking Glass -- Release Date: May 27, 2016

Let's be honest, the movie Alice In Wonderland was a big hit of 2010, managing to make $1 billion dollars at the box office across the globe. Now it's coming again after six years with the change of director, James Robin. By looking at the last few films, we just don't see Alice Through the Looking Glass taking off at the box office.

#2 The Huntsman: Winter's War -- Release Date: April 22, 2016

The Huntsman: Winter's War, is a prequel to the 2012 movie Snow White and the Huntsman. While Snow White and the Huntsman made over $400 million dollars worldwide, it wasn't exactly a critical hit. Hopefully, the recently released trailer will spark interest for this movie, but it is highly doubtful that this movie will make anywhere near as much money as the first one.

#3 Star Trek Beyond -- Release Date: July 22, 2016

While 2009's Star Trek and 2013's Star Trek Into Darkness were successful. They weren't quite as successful as Paramount was banking on. Therefore, Star Trek Beyond is a gamble for the paramount. 2016 is the 50th anniversary of the paramount, which could motivate fans as well as newcomers to get into the theaters.

#4 The Angry Birds Movie -- Release Date: May 20, 2016

The Angry Birds video game made its debut in 2009. Sure, the Angry Birds game was an amusing way to pass the time on the train, but a full-fledged movie? We don't think so. we can't even begin to imagine what the storyline is going to be.

#5 Warcraft -- Release Date: June 10, 2016

This movie is based on the most famous game The World of Warcraft. Video game film adaptations haven't exactly been successful. Either the film is going to be out of reach for typical moviegoers who enjoy a good fantasy, or it's going to be way too generic for lovers of the game. Hopefully, this movie will break the curse of video game movies doing poorly, but it may have to overcome quite the hill to do so.

#6 Independence Day:Resurgence -- Release Date: June 24, 2016

Independence Day: Resurgence is the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Independence Day that comes two decades after the original film. We're not sure why anyone would be bothered with making an Independence Day film without Will Smith. We could have honestly just stuck with the 1996 film because none of them have the ability to draw in audiences like Smith can.

#7 Inferno -- Release Date: October 28, 2016

Inferno is based on the Dan Brown's book and it is a continuation of The Vinci Code which was a sensation and earned $758 million. By the time the second movie, Angels & Demons dropped in 2009, the Frenchise Columbia had already lost much of it luster. Based on the performance of the second movie, it is apparent that audiences may have grown tired with this religion-based mystery story lines, which may not bold well for Inferno's box office earnings.

#8 The Legend Of Tarzan -- Release Date: July 1, 2016

The Legend of Tarzan has all of the bones for a spectacular film. However, the last movie on Tarzan was Tarzan and the Lost City in 1998, it was an utter failure. The Legend's plot is a reverse from the original, with Tarzan already living in civilized London and returning to the Congo on a mission, but we're just not sure a 21st-century audience is going to hang in with this 20th-century classic character.

#9 Ben-Hur -- Release Date: August 12, 2016

The original 1959 Ben-Hur is perhaps one of the most famous films ever made, earning $1.2 billion dollars in the box office. It also pretty much sweep the Academy Awards in all categories. If you see the trailor, you will notice that it's nearly impossible to beat original Ben-Hur. It will likely be an addition to that list of failures.
