They knew she was deathly afraid, but they made her give the forecast anyway.
Weather Woman Runs Off In Sheer Terror When She Looks To The Left And Sees It
#1 Kristi Gordon
Meteorologist Kristi Gordon did her live noon newscast just like every other day. But little did the Global BC weather reporter know that this afternoon's forecast would be just a little but different.
#2 She Is Expecting Rain For The Area
She is looking very graceful and composed as she talks about the weather. Standing in front of the 'green screen' she points out that rain is expected.
#3 What Is Happening
Suddenly, something scares her terribly. So much that she screams and starts to run in a panic.
#4 She Is Being Attacked By A HUGE Spider
There's a huge spider on the screen and she begins to fear for her safety, running from side to side, not knowing exactly what she should do. So she starts jutting from the left to the right trying to get away while apologizing and talking all the time.
#5 She's An Arachnophobe
Apologizing to viewers and her coworkers that she is acting so crazy she continues to frantically run around the stage in front of the camera while the spider appears to attack her. But it's not even really there. That doesn't matter, Kristi is an arachnophobe and deathly afraid of spiders.
#6 She's Afraid Of Everything
"I hate it, I can't stand it!" Kristi screams out, trying not to act to afraid.
"You realize it's not there..." says the anchorman off screen.
Apparently, this is not the first time the meteorologist has run amuck on camera. Her coworkers say she is afraid of just about everything and are always trying to scare her. Last year she panicked when a giant turtle appeared behind her in one shot, and frantically left the news set.
"She doesn't get how the green screen works," said one of the news anchors. "That spider was probably a half inch long in reality."
