#1 It all started at the end of 2016...

When Wendy's had some choice words for a Twitter user wondering "what could be better than Burger King's 5 for $4 deal?" Of course, the correct answer was "edible food".

#2 And then as the new year rolled around, things escalated.

They recently had some choice words for a Twitter troll that escalated into a hilarious war of words, with Wendy's scoring all the hits.

#3 After that, things just got pretty harsh...

#5 Of course, this made Twitter angry and everyone decided to get in on the action.

#7 They even trolled the competition, like McDonald's and Burger King.

Burger King later tweeted a few choice things to Wendy's as well but nobody caught on.

#8 But people began to wonder who was behind this Wendy's account.

So they sent back pictures of Wendy herself to prove it was them.

#9 By now, hundreds of tweets asking Wendy questions or making rude comments began to roll in.

So Wendy started passing out some pretty sound advice on just about everything from relationships to driving directions.

#10 The account was then accused of being a bot.

But Wendy let them know that she was indeed human and even saw the movie they stole the premise from, Westworld.

#11 Not all of the come=backs by Wendy were jabs.

She even put together a few little rap songs to please her new fans.

#12 She proved her wit time after time, shutting everyone down who dared to come before the great and powerful redheaded stranger.

#13 But then...

Mom steps in and reveal's the person behind the Twitter Wendy. It turns out, the genius behind all of these salty tweets is social media manager Amy Brown, who has held the position since 2012 when Wendy's VP of Advertising, Brandon Rhoten, hired her "after trolling her on Twitter."

#14 Rhoten still maintains that Wendy is an 8-year-old pigtailed girl.

But despite the snark, Rhoten explained that Wendy's representative is still an eight-year-old girl with pigtails, so at the end of the day, there have to be some boundaries. Amy Brown saves the real zingers for those on her personal Twitter account. But Wendy's just updated their bio to reflect the strength of their team's social media game.
