Two friends who were kayaking found themselves suddenly in the mouth of a giant whale only to be spat back out when it realised it had swallowed them whole.
Two female friends who had decided to go kayaking had the experience of a lifetime when they found themselves on the wrong end of a humpback whale.
The whale which was aiming for a shoal of fish had accidentally swallowed the two as well as they recorded the entire incident on camera.

The video shows them screaming as they are both flung into the air. Luckily, the two weren’t harmed during the encounter.

One of the women, Liz Cottriel said, "I'm thinking to myself, "I'm gonna push."

"Like, I'm gonna push a whale out of the way! It was the weirdest thought. I'm thinking, 'I'm dead. I'm dead." I thought it was gonna land on me. Next thing I know, I'm underwater.'"
Liz had always been fascinated by whales, "I was infatuated by them and in awe. But I never expected one to be right here, in my face!"

Julia McSorley caught the entire incident on video as the two were gulped into the humpback whale's mouth.

The two had been caught in the midst of a school of fish which the whale had seemed to be targeting.

Other boatsmen, kayakers, and paddleboarders around them rushed to their aid and were able to rescue the two women.

"We got back to the car, I was shaking my shirt and a bunch of fish came out of my shirt."
The only thing the two lost during the encounter was car keys that the other kayaker Julie McSorley had on her person.
