Dolls are the ultimate play thing and companions of little girls, even by some adults. Sadly, in history, dolls are also used in witchcraft that leave a creepy impression on them.
To make it more frightening, some are made like a living killer dolls in movies, spreading terror. However, there are many real-life stories about dolls being possessed by evil spirits. One of them is the famous “Annabelle” who served as the inspiration for the films Annabelle and The Conjuring. And now, there’s one particular doll which is believed to be haunted and wreaking havoc to those who have seen photos and videos of it.
#1 This doll is Peggy, she is believed to be possessed by the spirit of a Jewish Holocaust victim.
#2 Peggy was given to paranormal investigator Jayne Harris
after the terrified owner was convinced it was the doll that causes her chronic sickness, nightmares and hallucination.
#3 Based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Harris leads an organization called Haunted Dolls, a paranormal research team.
#4 After posting pictures of Peggy on their Facebook page, viewers began to experience strange phenomena just by simply looking at the doll’s images.
Since then, Harris has received numerous reports from people around the world who encountered uncanny things, like unexplained headaches, computer screens freezing and temperature changes in the room.
#5 Around 80 people have reported experiencing chest pains, nausea, piercing headaches and unexplainable fright, but others are more unsettling.
Haunted Dolls members are doing everything to find out who or what is possessing Peggy. At first they believed she is "possessed by the spirit of a woman born in 1946 in London's Holland Park who died of a chest-related condition possibly an asthma attack and strongly dislikes clowns."
#6 But four different psychic mediums have ‘read’ Peggy, all consistently picking up that she is restless, frustrated and was persecuted in life.
Harris said, "We have been told she can affect people's dreams, she recently visited a lady in her dreams, warning her about one of her cats. The next morning, the lady found her cat very ill and he sadly died that day."
#7 According to Harris, “There is still a shroud of mystery surrounding Peggy’s religion.
She appears to have an aversion to a crucifix necklace she was previously made to wear, suggesting she is not a Christian."
#8 ‘A lot of people, including two mediums, have said they feel she has links to the Holocaust and was possibly Jewish,’ said Harris.
"We have conducted automatic writing sessions with her in which the words "star" and the name "David" came up, so there is possibly a link there," She added.
Harris and her team received offers from other psychics to get rid of Peggy's lingering spirit, but for the team it's not yet the time. They still need to investigate more about Peggy's mystery.
‘I've been asked to take her along to various paranormal events and investigations at haunted locations but, for now, I want to continue my private studies into her case,' Harris said.
