A woman is being called a racist after she accused a black man of stealing her phone in a California mall and ultimately recovering it from her purse.
A woman can be seen at a Spencer’s in a California mall in this TikTok video, rifling through the contents of her purse trying to search for her phone.
She is mid-argument with the people behind the camera who she is accusing of theft as she continues to search for her phone.
A woman’s voice can be heard asking a shop attendant, “Can you call it, because she won’t let us call it?”
The Spencer’s employee obliges, “Yeah, what’s the phone number?”
As the woman begins to narrate her phone number, she suddenly stops, claiming the woman has made a further move to hide her device.
“Well, he could’ve turned off the ringer,” she says.
This leads to the woman being frustrated further.
“Oh my God! What, do you want him to get f–king naked, lady?”
“I really need my phone back.”
The accused man then empties the contents of his pockets.
The woman however continues with her allegations, “I just stuck it right here, you walked right behind me and you took it,”
The man defends himself, “I did not take it,”
The employee then hands her their own phone to dial their phone number, only for it to ring inside her own purse.
It is at this moment that the woman’s expression changes and she looks mortified.
“I am sorry. I apologize.” She apologies to the two who don’t accept her apology.
“F—k off,” the woman with the accused man replies. “No, you’re not.”
The accused man who doesn’t appear in the video said, “The whole situation was funny to me lol,”
