Wife Catches Hilarious Footage Of Her Husband's Showdown With Their Icy Driveway

Most of us can agree that Winter sucks. With snow and ice piling up combined with freezing temperatures, we are usually over winter after our first cold blast. However, stories like this one are great for warming us up from the inside.

Taking out the trash

While most of us are kind enough to not admit it, we really enjoy a good laugh at someone else's expense. This woman from the UK had no idea that asking her husband to take out the trash on a really cold morning was going to leave her and her kids breathless from laughing.

Grab the camera

When his wife saw what was happening outside while he took out the trash, she grabbed her camera so she could catch the whole thing on film. Her husband, Alun Miles, can be seen attempting to move his trash can from an area of his driveway to the curb for trash pickup. But, there was a problem. The entire driveway was covered with a sheet of black ice.

Slip and slide

Alun could not catch a break as his wife and children giggled at his failed attempts to bring the trash can to the curb. What makes things worse is that he seems to be on a time constraint as the trash truck can be seen working its way down the road.

Helpful advice

Either way, Alun seems determined to get the can to the curb no matter what. He tries several different methods. His wife even hollers out to him, "put it in front of you!" That did not work out too well for him either.

The video

Putting the can in front of him seemed to only make things worse because the driveway is on a hill and the weight of the can is pushing them both backward. We are not sure why this man's struggle is as funny as it is, but it is definitely a great sight to see. It is guaranteed to leave you in stitches.
