Wife Puts Her Wedding Dress Back On EVERY YEAR...Here's Why

When Samantha Burns married her husband in August of 2014 she made sure that her husband was well aware that she would be wear her wedding dress every year on their anniversary.

Let's face it, it's tragic for ladies when we take our wedding dress off. After weeks or months of looking for that perfect dress, who wants to put it away after wearing it for one day?

"I felt giddy about the idea of celebrating each milestone with such a fun and sentimental tradition," Samantha said in her blog.

And,as we all know...wedding dresses are not the most inexpensive thing in the world, so it appears to be very silly not to get your money's worth! That being said, there are relatively few places in the real world where the clothing standard requires a wedding dress.

But of course, this hasn't stopped mental health counselor and dating consultant, Samantha Burns from putting hers on every year. She believes you should wear your wedding dress as much as you'd like. She thinks wearing the dress more than once will convey bliss to yourself and your partner. In addition, she couldn't envision just wearing her lovely outfit once. Subsequently, the "love expert" started a tradition of her own.

To celebrate their first wedding anniversary, Burns wore the dress to a brunch where she ate chocolate chip pancakes.

She also wore her gown to go golfing with her husband.

The spunky bride has also made her own bucket list of things to do while wearing her wedding dress. Such as the dinner cruise they went on when her and the hubby viewed the Boston Harbour. It's all been great,although she admits getting into the dress "is a slight struggle."

"No matter how funny and silly the tradition seems to us, it's really all based in science," she explains. "Keeping the spark alive is crucial, so activities like this activate the reward center in your brain that boost dopamine."

Mrs. Burns said that ,not only is it romantic...but wearing her wedding dress on the couple's anniversary is done in the name of science.
