Have you ever campaigned alongside the pro-choice movement? What about marching with the pro-lifers? Perhaps you keep your thoughts on the subject to yourself. No matter what, there is a good chance you have picked a side whether you admit it or not.

Like the opinions that people hold on gun control, Taylor Swift Vs. Kanye West and President Trump, rational and logical thought tend to end up in the back seat when it comes to a woman having the right to decide what she does with her body.

The topic of abortion is as hot as it's ever been and no matter if you're pro-life or pro-choice there is very little room for compromise. The two groups clash regularly while the battles rarely ever lead to any kind of change in opinion on the subject. That's where Patrick S. Tomlinson comes into the picture. He claims to have come up with a way to end the debate once and for all.

The journalist, comedian and science fiction author has shared a question on his twitter that he claims shuts down the pro-life movement completely. The post has since gone viral and caused a ton of debate.

In order to set up his question for his followers, he creates a scenario using a multiple choice answer. He tries to pose the question in a manner that is believable for all sides.

There are 3 choices, either you save the child, save the embryos or you all die. He claims that the people who are against abortion rights never give him a straight answer and he has some thoughts on why that is.

In his mind, it's a simple answer. You save the child. Tomlinson believes that everyone, even the anti-abortion people, believes that A is the right answer. I mean it's simple, right? Well, Mr. Tomlinson says that he has been asking the anti-abortion group this questions for years and no one has come close to being able to formulate a rebuttal because it destroys their argument.

He then explains that anti-abortion crowds do not use logic to form their arguments. He claimes that they base their opinions solely on emotion which is foolish in his mind.

He follows up his loaded question by addressing the pro-lifers again:

Pro-lifers never give Tomlinson a proper answer he claims, but that doesn't stop him from egging them on and urging pro-abortion people to call out the anti-abortion crowd.

The author continued to reply to commenters, shutting down every critic that brought up a counter argument. I guess you could say he dropped the mic on them.

Criticism continues to mount against Tomlinson on Twitter but he is unfazed. He simply shuts down any hater that may rise up against him. To the point, no one has come up with a sufficient argument for saving the embryos over the child. It's doubtful anyone will.

So what is your opinion? Do you save the child or save the embryos? It's either A or B. It's doubtful anyone would choose C. There is a good chance that I can actually guess what your answer would be.

Regardless of Tomlinson's question, the abortion debate will continue to rage for as long as humans exist. With that said, let's take a look at the history of abortion in America all the way up to the present with President Trump.
