Madi Ruvee, who goes by the username @yourfavouritedaughter2 on TikTok, was in the midst of recording her workout routine at the gym when she found herself confronted by a man.

In her video, she is seen performing a deep squat, holding onto a weight and gently swaying back and forth.

This is when she's interrupted by a man who comes over to inquire about her actions.

Her response was: "My leg day warm up," which prompted him to retort: "No don't give me that bullshit, I know you know what you're doing."

"You realize you're actually what's wrong with girls?" and concluded with: "Keep this shit online."

Ruvee countered by explaining that she was engaging in 'pulse squats' as part of her warm-up routine.

Despite the consensus that the man's approach and behavior were inappropriate, some viewers expressed skepticism about whether what she was doing could be classified as 'pulse squats'.

One commenter observed: "After looking at pulse squats, those were not pulse squats. But why did he care so much? I would've just ignored it because it's not my business."

Another added their professional viewpoint: "Fitness trainer instructor/trainer for 15 years- Never seen leg day warm up like that."

And yet another succinctly remarked: "Girl, what warmup is that."

Nonetheless, there was a clear agreement that the man's actions, including kicking her phone, were unjustifiable.

One person remarked: "Even if they're not pulse squats what gives him the right to approach her like that."

Another commented: "He shouldn't have kicked your phone but seriously, come on... we all know that wasn't a leg warm up."

However, there was a comment suggesting the man was '100% valid', to which Madi responded in another video.

She defended her actions by saying: "So just because I do [OnlyFans] I'm not allowed to stretch at the gym? Because before I started [OnlyFans] I was doing that same stretch before every leg day."

Many people rallied to her defense in the comments section. One person empathized: "I am so sorry this happened to you, it is rude obnoxious behavior on his behalf and at his age he should know better, I'm sorry that this happened."

Another supporter stated: "That guy was a jerk. You have every right to stretch."

In a subsequent TikTok post, she clarified that she was performing deep squats, questioning: "I don't know why we have to sexualize everything."

She also expressed her dismay over the reaction in the comments, saying: "It's really sad to me to see all these comments saying that I deserve something because I went to the gym and I was stretching."
