Woman Finds Hidden Camera in 16 y/o Daughter’s Shower Placed by Husband

In a disturbing video shared on TikTok, this woman found a hidden camera hidden within the light fixture of her daughter’s bathroom. 

The video shows her recording the event with shaky hands as she breathes heavily with fear. Her 2 year old son can also be heard calling for her in the background. 

After she manages to yank the parts of the light fixture out, she discovers what users have now identified as a Blink camera by Amazon.

She chucks all remnants of the fixtures into the bath and the camera cuts off.

Since then @newmommyofthree has posted an update sharing that after she had discovered the camera, she ran straight out of the house with her 2 year old in tow and went straight to the police station to report the incident.

When asked how she found the camera in the first place, she revealed that her bathroom had a barn door which her son was prone to opening when she would take a shower. 

After deciding to shower in her younger daughter’s bathroom instead, she realised that the light fixture in her bathroom no longer worked.

This was after her husband who is also a construction worker remodelled the bathroom. As she went to change the lightbulb, she recognised the telltale lens of a camera and proceeded to dismantle it. 

After heading to the police, she was escorted back to gather her belongings and has since been homeless trying to create distance between her children and her ex-husband.

Users were glad that she took immediate action and that keeping her children safe was an immediate priority.

She said she didn't realised she was shaking and breathing heavily until after she saw the video again.

It was speculated that the husband may not be charged if the videos from the camera are not found in his possession.

Some users pointed out that Blink cameras save videos to the cloud and advised for her to look there as a starting point.

They also urged her to check the bedroom as well but the mother was unable to check considering she no longer lived in the home.

Overall, the gut wrenching video is a difficult watch but it is comforting to know that @newmommyof3 and her children are in a safe place
