Megan McGee made an unsettling discovery when she saw a strange pattern on a fitness app that her husband was using.
Woman Found Out Her Husband Was Cheating After Noticing A Pattern On Fitness App
A woman figured out her husband was "cheating" on her by spotting an odd pattern in the fitness tracker he often used.
You've got to admit, the introduction of the internet and the near-ubiquitous presence of mobile phones have really turned the world on its head.
With these technological advancements, there's been a huge uptick in how closely we're watched over.
Imagine the shock of characters like the notorious charmer Don Draper from Mad Men, known for his sneaky escapes into a world of alcohol and risqué adventures.

Nowadays, trying to pull off such stunts gets a lot trickier when you're carrying around gadgets that pretty much broadcast every move you make, including your heart rate.
Megan McGee stumbled upon this modern-day predicament when she detected something off about the fitness tracker readings from her husband's device.
These gadgets are a hit since they offer folks a way to monitor their fitness journeys and establish a steady workout regimen.
However, it was precisely this kind of data that tipped Megan off.
Sharing her story on TikTok, she revealed:
"I studied his running map on the Strava workout app and realized that he ran past, paused around, or ended at an address where a fellow Army girl lived."
"Their relationship had always given me a weird feeling and they were deployed together."

She continued, shedding light on her findings:
"Discovering these maps was the clue that confirmed my suspicions about their relationship — and the rest is history."
This particular route he took had always seemed suspicious to Megan, especially because it was a frequent occurrence.
Digging in deeper, she explained: "What I ended up finding through [his] running maps was that he would start his 'run' at our house and he would end it at her house. She lived probably a half of a mile away."
While this wasn't solid evidence, it was enough for Megan to grow more suspicious.
Expanding on her thoughts, she said: "So while this didn't tell me the whole story, it sure gave me a lot of reassurance about who he was cheating on me with and what he was doing all those times he was gone."
Turns out, this isn't the first incident where a fitness tracker played detective.
Back in 2019, NFL reporter Jane Slater shared that she and her boyfriend had linked their Fitbits to encourage each other.
However, things took a turn for the awkward when she observed a sudden, significant spike in his physical activity levels at four in the morning.
Well, perhaps he had taken up the habit of extremely early morning runs!
