Woman Gets Notes From An Alleged Captive In Neighbour’s House

People never really know what their neighbours are up to these days other than making annoying bits of noise. Things however took a creepy turn for TikTok user @sydmasterflsh when they started noticing notes being dropped from their neighbour’s window.

They updated the situation in a series of videos starting with, “We noticed notes falling from my neighbour's 2nd-floor window saying ‘911’,”

The TikTok user was with some other neighbours when they encountered the notes and were told of a woman who had been locked in the upstairs bedroom.

The notes said, “Call 911. I’m being held captive. No electric, food, or my medications. Very ill.”

OP and commenters didn’t really know what to think. While some thought it was a hoax, most agreed it was time to seek help and start asking questions due to the severity of the alleged crime.

The uploader’s upstairs neighbours were the first to notice the notes and had managed to have a conversation with the allegedly captive woman through a window when the other member of the house had left.

She had told them that she had been held captive for five days by that time. When the police arrived, however, she had been let out of the captivity.

“This is not the first time this has happened,” said the TikToker. The place is known to be home to drug users leading the police to ignore the woman’s pleas for help thinking that she was lying.

“It has happened multiple times with multiple women. I don’t believe she’s lying for a second.”

Some skeptics called her and the neighbours out for being loud and didn’t believe their account of the story either. OP then made a third video addressing these concerns.

People however did not like the way she had handled the situation, saying their behaviour could have put the captive further at risk.

“Why were we being so loud? That clip of us reading the notes and being loud, that did not happen until after the police came, got her and left… We knew what was going on because we were literally talking to the woman in the window.”

She also said she was in shock at the time.

Syd also said that the woman had been removed from the location when the video was made.
