Mie Ford, a TikToker shared her experience of getting a Daisy Tattoo. Her excitement however quickly faded away just as her tattoo did before peeling off her skin.
TikToker Mie Ford paid for a small daisy tattoo which she got on her inner wrist. As her earlier posts would indicate, she was overjoyed with the results and people thought initially that it had come out great as well.
Unfortunately, the situation unfolded in quite the unexpected way.
She hadn't expected it to peel off fully at the time she was getting inked.
After just two weeks, the design had already started fading away and after months it was barely there.
The peeling did not look good.
A month or so later it had faded and peeled further
"Three months later, let me get a new one," she said in the caption.
Commenters thought this was probably due to the fact that she had gotten it for cheap. Tattoos are considered to be expensive and are treated as investments considering they’ll be on your skin for a lifetime.
Others thought it could perhaps be a skin condition which didn’t react to the ink well. Some thought she didn’t do the aftercare properly.
According to the NHS, tattoos are meant to be left for at least an hour before dressings or ointments are applied and then left to heal on their own. People should also not pick on their scabs.
