A woman has revealed that she 'happily married' the bully from her high school.

Although he teased her every day for months when they were teenagers, Lauren Enslow, 20, of Utah, United States, married Lucas Olsen, 21, despite the fact that they were dating.

The couple started using the social media platform Snapchat to get in touch after they first met in October 2016 at a friend's party. In order to avoid getting a boyfriend at the moment, Enslow ended their relationship, but the following summer they reconnected.

When they both entered high school in September 2017, Enslow discovered that she and Olsen belonged to the same friend circle.

Olsen and his pals began making fun of Enslow by referring to her as "Linda" after the cartoon character from "Bob's Burgers" and claiming that she resembled the character. Additionally, they would film her in the school hallways and upload the video to Snapchat.

Per New York Post, Enslow admitted:

"At this point I hated him. I wanted nothing to do with him. But in November 2017, Olsen saw Enslow and her mother and sister in a car accident, which caused their relationship to shift."

She recalled the incident:

“We were in a parking lot and saw him. My sister thought it was funny to roll down the window and call out his name. Seconds later we were in a car crash. No one was seriously injured [but] the cars were messed up. He asked if I was OK. It showed he cared. It helped me like him again.

Olsen stopped his taunting after the accident and reached out to show his concern. They rapidly grew close friends and later fell in love with one another.

Enslow said:

“It’s funny that I can call him my high school bully and high school sweetheart. I have forgiven him. I’ll still tease him about it sometimes. He used to call me Linda from 'Bob’s Burgers, and I didn’t like being compared to her at all. I hated him then.

“But I got a soft spot for him when he reached out after my accident. We ended up developing feelings for each other. People say they would never have forgiven him, but I can’t base his personality off who he was for three months when he was 16.

Olsen said:

“Looking back now I just think it was silly. When you are that young you think things like that are funny. And of course, I and my friends thought it was funny.

“I never actually thought she looked like that cartoon character, my friends and I were just coming up with characters to compare Lauren and all her friends to as a joke, and that ended up going a little too far.

“I teased her because at the moment I think it was a mix of because I liked her and because my friends were doing it as well. Peer pressure in a way.

They began dating in February 2018 and eventually got engaged in July 2022 before getting married in October 2022.
