TikTok is in stitches after this woman shares her dating app story where she went out on a date with a guy and apparently everything was going smooth till the guy decided to tell the woman how he didn't like it when he had to pay for his date's dinner. Not only this but the guy also felt obliged to tell the woman that just because he has a trust fund it doesn't mean he has to pay for his date's drinks and meals.
One frustrated and obviously disappointed woman took to TikTok to vent her frustration at a petty man who took her for a date, ghosted her, and then accused her of using him financially.
The viral TikTok video that has been viewed more than a million times explains how Nik went on a date with a man she met on a dating app.
Things were going all great until the man ignored Nik when she suggested going on a second date. The rude man later responded and didn't even bother to explain why he didn't acknowledge her previous messages.
Fed up with his behavior, she quizzes the guy for his 'ghosting,' to which the rude entitled guy replies he didn’t feel any urgency to see her again because she “excused [herself] when the check came for dinner and then also drinks.”
Not stopping with his cheekiness here, in a lengthy series of text messages, the guy further expressed, “I hate when girls do that,”
“It’s exceptionally rude and cheap; and really disrespectful and I felt like you really didn’t care despite what I felt from you.”
He later randomly dropped in that he “had a trust fund” – which Nik was apparently unaware of.
“Just because I have a f***ing trust fund” doesn’t mean he “likes to use it to cover other girls drinks,” he said.
The date then told her how she “picked the restaurant; ordered what [she] liked, and then never offered to pay for it.”
“He picked the restaurant and made the reservation,” Nik hit back.
“Of course, I ordered what I liked. What am I going to do? Order something I don’t like?”
Baffled and equally confused TikTok users took to the comment section to respond to the bizarre situation.
One pointed out his grammatical error: “My favorite new red flag I’ve discovered is when a man mixes up “woman” and “women”. They’re different words,” they said.
Another joked: “Wait are you telling me you ordered what you liked??? at dinner??? WHATTTT.”
Others hilariously picked up on his casual declaration that he allegedly had a trust fund.
“He 874% does not have a trust fund,” one commented.
Another couldn’t contain themselves at the comment: “Hahahahahah I’m dying “just because I have a trust fund”. He literally just wanted to bring that up.”
“Just because I have a trust fund doesn’t mean I want to use it to pay for girls drinks’. I’m crying what,” one added.
Guess she literally dodged a bullet.
