Katherine, an American from Idaho, was truly stunned when she discovered her husband cheating with her own mom.

Sharing her story as @katenacious on TikTok with her 69.1k followers, she unveiled the heart-wrenching saga.

Her revelation sent shockwaves through her online community, painting a picture of betrayal that shook her world.

In a series of revealing videos, the mother of two shared that almost everyone in her family had some inkling about the affair before she did, each in their own way betraying her trust.

The TikTok saga quickly went viral, amassing over 12.4 million views, a staggering one million likes, and tens of thousands of comments pouring in from people eager to express their shock and reactions to this explosive revelation.

One TikTok user penned: "Please, I pray this isn't true. How can a mother do this to HER child?!?"

Luckily, Katherine obliged and has since posted a lengthy four-part reveal about how she found out her husband was having an affair with her mother.

In a poignant TikTok, Katherine disclosed that the affair spanned approximately four months before she finally caught them in the act.

The pivotal moment came last February when, with their twin daughters still in their infancy, Katherine video-called her husband in the evening to inquire about his return from his food delivery shift.

He claimed to be in a different city, but Katherine realized his deceit by recognizing the familiar buildings in the background.

She recalled: "All of a sudden, I heard a woman's voice.

"He turned over to his passenger seat as if listening to that voice speaking."

Katherine then asked who was in the car with him, and he hung up.

"My heart was just beating out of my chest," she went on. "I took a few minutes to have a panic attack and cry, and process that I think I'm right."

"At this point, I'm 99% sure it's my mum," she continued. "I just had this gut feeling."

Katherine persisted with calls to her husband, only to face his gaslighting, dismissing her concerns as irrational.

Fueled by suspicion, she dialed her sister's number, hoping for clarity. The revelation struck hard—her mother wasn't where she was supposed to be.

Her sister's account of her husband picking up their mum earlier that evening confirmed Katherine's worst fears, painting a vivid picture of deceit.

Seeking more answers, she reached out to her dad, discovering his partial awareness of the situation.

This led to a tense family confrontation, culminating in Katherine making a decisive move.

Packing her bags and taking her two children, she left the home behind in the wake of the tumultuous intervention.

And as if things couldn't get any worse, Katherine's mum took her departure from the house as an invitation to move in.

"They continued to play house until I served my husband with divorce papers," Katherine added.

She went on: "My husband and my mother were conspiring about how they could get married. Therefore making my mother, my children's step-mum and my children, my step-sisters."

In a turn of events, Katherine's ex-husband eventually 'got bored' with his mistress and booted her out the house, at which point she 'went crawling back' to Katherine's dad, who oddly enough 'welcomed her with open arms'.

She concluded: "To this day, my parents act like the affair never happened.

"In their words, the affair never would have happened if I wasn't such a 'horrible daughter' and 'horrible wife'."
