Woman Shocked After Husband Left Her For Her Daughter To Start Family Once She Turned 18

A woman confessed that her husband had started a family with her daughter after leaving her.

The individual posting under the identity "Tiffany" claimed that meeting her ex-husband "Mark" was the fulfillment of her goals in a since-deleted post to the subreddit Relationship Advice.

She had a 3-year-old daughter and had found dating difficult as a single mother when she first met him.

Tiffany was thrilled when she met a man who wanted to be with her, support her in raising her daughter and start a family.

“My life felt perfect. In 2010, I had a son with my husband. My life was then complete. I had two kids. A great husband. A house. Car. Nice job. Life was great,” she wrote on Reddit.

Tiffany's "perfect" life, however, came crashing down seven years later.

Shortly after her daughter turned 18, Mark declared that his marriage to Tiffany was over and that he was seeing her daughter instead.

“I couldn’t believe this. I couldn’t process it. I felt crushed, angry, disgusted, mad — every feeling I could feel.”

She added that although she didn't get any "creepy vibes" from her ex-husband, the fact that he started dating her daughter after she was 18 led her to suspect that "something had been going on while she was a minor."

However, nothing Tiffany said to the two could have stopped them from leaving and reuniting. She also mentioned how her daughter didn't appear to understand why she was angry.

“She doesn’t see how it’s wrong or gross. She doesn’t care about me. He doesn’t see an issue too. But my own daughter? Come on,” she said.

One year later, the new couple was pregnant, and Tiffany cut them out of her life.

“I had my ex-husband stop coming around completely, and my ex is OK with not seeing our son now that he has his ‘new’ family,” she explained.

Additionally, Tiffany claimed that she didn't tell "him the truth" and that her kid, whom she had with Mark, occasionally has trouble "understanding" why his father and sister are gone.

“Maybe I should, but he’s only 10. I told him his sister went to university, and his dad had to go away for a while.”

Since this time four years ago, Tiffany learned from a relative that her daughter was expecting a second baby at the time.

She now carries my ex-two husband's children. She continued, saying that her daughter's children are her grandchildren as well as her son's half-siblings, before describing the guy who raised her as if she were his own daughter.

“I’m still not over this. I don’t know how to get over this. I just want to move on,” she continued.

The fact that Tiffany is not at fault was readily shared on the platform by users. Some people think that her daughter was "groomed" by her ex-husband.

One person wrote: “Jesus f****** christ. I cannot unsee this. How can they not see that this is so wrong on so many levels?”

“This is beyond disgusting For sure; he groomed her.”

“I would start therapy ASAP,” another added.

A third person who agreed that counseling would be beneficial in this case wrote: “Please see a therapist; this is probably your best way.”

“As for your daughter not caring, you realize she has been groomed for years to be exactly as she is now. She might not realize it now (she is still very young), but she will. It will take time.”
