A woman who received a call that her mother was having a heart attack was trapped at a red light by another driver who claimed she “was going to jail” and called the cops on her.
Woman Traps TikToker Rushing To Meet Mother Who Had Heart Attack
A Tiktoker by the name of @pinkhotwheels.cricket was driving when she received a phone call that her mother was having a heart attack.
After hearing the news and panicking, she rushed to reach her as soon as possible and as a result cut through a red light.
This was when another woman abruptly cut her off by wedging her car in her way and refused to move until she had been reprimanded.
The Tiktoker, her brother, and her husband tried to explain to the woman that they had an emergency that they needed to get to immediately.
The woman however called the cops on the situation and said that she would not let them leave until the police arrived.
@pinkhotwheels.cricket uploaded a follow-up video explaining what had really happened. She had been at an intersection when she received a phone call on her Bluetooth headset.
After receiving the news she had gone into shock and started turning the car as soon as she became aware of her surroundings. At this point, however, the light had gone red and the other woman had rushed in to block her path.
She had then pulled over into a nearby parking lot where her brother and husband were waiting to meet her and had already been notified of their mother’s situation.
The other driver however refused to believe the story and adamantly held them there without regard for the sensitivity of the situation they were facing.
She said that she would not let them go before they got a ticket and called the police on them.
She also screamed at the Tiktoker for taking a video and had been present at the scene with her husband who remained in her vehicle.
When the police arrived, the TikToker began hyperventilating and crying and tried to explain the situation to the officer to the best of her abilities.
The video cuts off as she is explaining her situation to the police.
People were angered by the woman’s behaviour and concerened for the TikToker’s mother which she confirmed was now in stable condition but in recovery.
This woman pointed out that considering the circumstances, the TikToker had done the only right thing possible.
She also pointed out that trapping her in an intersection like that counted as imprisonment or kidnap and liable for charges.
This commenter also pointed out the importance of asking people whether they're driving before delivering difficult news.
It may be best to ask them to pull over or reach their destination before any such news is delivered.
