A 22-year-old Italian woman named Chiara Dell’Abate, also known as Aydin Mod, is trying to turn herself into a human cat. She's undergone 20 body modifications, and her videos on TikTok showing her transformation, including lots of piercings, have become really popular.
Woman Undergoes 20 Body Modifications In An Attempt To Become Human Cat
An Italian woman has undergone a total of 20 body modifications to make her dream of "transitioning" into a cat a reality, as demonstrated in videos that have garnered millions of views on TikTok.
Although she has faced criticism from detractors who have labeled her as "psychotic" and "disturbed," this woman, living life as a real-life cat, claims that she is perfectly comfortable with her chosen lifestyle.
“I’m thinking that I would be a pretty cool cat lady,” Chiara Dell’Abate, 22, who goes by Aydin Mod online told Media Drum World of her pussycat pilgrimage.
Her journey of lifelong body modifications commenced at the age of 11 in Rome when she got her first piercing and began ear stretching.
After five years, Aydin Mod had more than 72 piercings on her body, like the character Pinhead from "Hellraiser."
Now, she has over 20 body modifications, which include pierced nostrils, upper lip piercings, and inner labia piercings.
In one of her TikTok videos with over 65 million views, she can be seen flicking her split tongue through two holes above her lips.
She also had a cosmetic surgery on her eyelids to remove extra skin or fat and has ten implants under her skin on both hands.
To complete her extraordinary look, she has four horns, six genital beads, eyeball tattoos, and she even had her nipples removed.
“It’s crazy to see how much the human body can change and what you can actually achieve from body modifications,” gushed Dell’Abate, who now plans to become a human kitten.
The cat lover mentioned that her permanent Halloween-like appearance was inspired by people who started comparing her to a cat, even though she never originally intended to resemble one.
“I think becoming a cat lady is more appropriate for me as I don’t really want to look like a cartoon character,” explained Dell’Abate. “I have always loved cats, and I think I’ll look really bold and fierce as a cat lady with the right body mods.”
Although the Italian woman already has some very cat-like modifications, including her pointed ears, permanent eyeliner, forehead implants, and claw-like nails, she still has a long journey ahead before her complete transformation into a "meow-tamorphosis."
“To achieve the full cat-like look, I will need a cat eyes lift or canthoplasty surgery to produce more elongated and naturally almond-shaped eyes, teeth reshaping, upper lip cut, more fillers,” Dell’Abate explained.
“I’ll put a thing called transdermal, which is like a huge micro dermal to attach a tail and definitely more tattoos.”
In simpler terms, she's becoming more like a cat, not just in her appearance, but in her overall body modifications. These cat-inspired changes are in addition to the scheduled alterations she plans, such as getting breast augmentation and more tattoos. She also intends to use a scalpel to create a slit in her septum.
Even though undergoing numerous surgeries (not to mention getting tattoos) might appear painful, Dell’Abate mentions that she is “more or less used to it.”
“Procedures of any kind hurt a lot, but the pain is temporary and not a big deal to me,” she explained.
The human sphinx’s unique look has made her a magnet for haters.
“God help us all,” commented one critic on a TikTok video of Dell’Abate poking her forked tongue through her lip piercings.
“I have so many questions … None of which I actually want answering,” quipped another.
A third wondered, “When did your life going wrong.”
“What happens inside someone’s head that makes them think that is a good idea??” wrote another critic. “I’m genuinely curious.. how is that not just straight-up embarrassing?”
Another criticized, “There is a huge difference between self-modification and mutilation. She has been turned into a monster.”
However, the would-be cat woman claimed that not all the feedback has been negative.
“I receive a lot of kindness mostly,” she insisted. “People write to me about how much I inspire them to be free and have changed their views on appearances and beauty.”
In the end, Dell’Abate views her body modifications as a way of expressing herself, and she isn't primarily concerned with how others perceive her (which could be compared to a global tour of personal privacy, but that's another matter).
“Through them (body mods), I feel free to stay true to myself, regardless of what people think,” the womanscaper declared They make me feel good, and that’s what matters.”
