The duo were starry-eyed for each other in a sweet selection of shots showing that roses mean love in any language.

Below, his love peers up into her partner's eyes, before climbing up the rose to unite the love nuts.

Max said: "The tree in which the squirrels live is under threat so I've spent the last four months attempting to encourage them to move into a purpose built dray.
