The are several superstars who remain undefeated on wrestling’s grandest stage, but none of them compare to the 21-0 record the Undertaker once had.
WWE Superstars Who Are Still Undefeated At Wrestlemania
Utter shock flooded the faces of the 75,000-plus fans who filled up the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans for WrestleMania XXX,
the scene of the crime that had Brock Lesnar end the Undertaker's streak at 21-0 (yeah, three F5s will end just about anything).
While the Dead Man's WrestleMania winning streak was easily the most publicized,
it doesn't mean that other WWE superstars don't have winning streaks of their own on the "Grandest Stage of Them All." WWE counts down five such superstars who have a WrestleMania winning streak intact, as the company heads into WrestleMania 32 just over two weeks away on April 3.
Ax – 3-0
All three of Ax's WrestleMania victories came while teaming with his Demolition brethren at three consecutive WrestleManias. Ax picked up the decisive pin in each win and Demolition left the event with the Tag Team Titles every time. At WrestleMania V, Ax and Smash defeated Tito Santana and Rick Martel for the belts after Ax pinned Martel. The following year they successfully defended the titles against The Powers of Pain and Mr. Fuji with Ax pinning Mr. Fuji for the win.
They completed their run of WrestleMania wins at Wrestlemania VI when Ax pinned Haku to regain the Tag Team Titles from Haku & Andre the Giant.
Prior to the following year's event, WWE commissioner Jack Tunney ruled that Demolition could only compete with two members and Ax stepped aside in favor of Crush who teamed up with Smash and suffered Demolition's first defeat at WrestleMania at the hands of Genichiro Tenryu and Koji Kitao while Ax remained undefeated.
AJ Lee – 2-0
The recently retired WWE Diva picked up her first WrestleMania win at WrestleMania XXX when she won the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational over Tamina, Naomi, the Bella twins, Natalya, Emma, Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, Layla, Aksana, Eva Marie, Cameron, and Summer Rae after making Naomi submit.
At this past year’s WrestleMania, AJ Lee remained unbeaten when she teamed with Paige to defeat the Bella twins after Lee forced Nikki Bell to submit.
She would retire just a few days later.
Legion of Doom – 3-0
The dominant tag team of Hawk and Animal marked their WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania VII by defeating the team of Power and Glory in just 59 seconds. At Wrestlemania 13, they teamed up with Ahmed Johnson to beat The Nation of Domination in a Chicago Street Fight. The following year the Legion of Doom won a 15-team battle royal to stay undefeated on the "Grandest Stage of Them All".
Rob Van Dam – 4-0
With The Undertaker's streak dead, the longest active WrestleMania undefeated streak belongs to Rob Van Dam. RVD picked up his first WrestleMania win with a victory over William Regal for the Intercontinental title at Wrestlemania X-8.
Two years later, he teamed with Booker T to successfully defend their Tag Team titles in a fatal four way match.
At Wrestlemania 22, he became Mr. Money in the Bank when he won just the second Money in the Bank ladder match. Van Dam's last Wrestlemania victory came at Wrestlemania 23 when he teamed up with fellow ECW Originals Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, and Sandman to defeat The New Breed, with Van Dam pinning Matt Striker for the win.
Shane McMahon – 2-0
Shane McMahon's first of his two WrestleMania victories came when he beat X-Pac to retain the European Championship at WrestleMania XV. Two years later, Shane O Mac beat his father, Vince McMahon, in a street fight with Mick Foley as the special guest referee. He provided us with his biggest WrestleMania moment in that match when he leaped coast to coast from the top rope to kick a trash can into the face of his father.
