Teen Mom Stars, Then and Now!
As any fan of the series knows, Barbara pretty much has raised Jace since his birth six years ago. While it was clear that Jace is still the matriarch's No. 1 priority, it was also apparent that she was ready to spread her wings beyond motherhood and grandmotherhood into the dating world.
Last week, a special of "Teen Mom 2" focused on Barbara, mother of Janelle Evans, and her battle for custody over Janelle's son Jace. Barbara has been raising Jace since he was a baby, and feels that she is best suited to raise the boy. But that's not what made headlines...
Barbara has just started to get back into dating, and here's what she's looking for in a man: An intelligent man aged 55 to 65 who was "moderately intelligent" and had good hygiene. (Although that did not mean he had to shave his balls, as she prefers them unshaved). Why she would reveal that detail to the world is confusing.
In preparation for dipping her toes back into the dating pool (a prospect Barbara called "intimidating" at her age), she upped her beauty routine. Highlights included shopping for some new dresses, shaving her facial hair (which had, apparently, become a real problem), getting a facial and having her hair blown out.
"I'm not looking for love, like, 'move-in' love," she clarified to her BFF and Teen Mom producer Kristen as she primped. "I'm looking for a companion, like, to go out to dinner."
